Who has been the greatest live act ever?

The Stones, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Queen, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Nirvana or someone else?

This Day in Music have just started a poll to find out. If you fancy voting for who you think should win go to http://www.thisdayinmusic.com

You can vote for any act, just go to 'other' on the list.

for me it's a tie between Pink Floyd and Radiohead

My dad has said that Pink Floyd was the best concert he ever went to. I was privileged to see Roger Waters live and that was an amazing concert. So i might have to go with them not just because of RW but also from the live performances i've seen (live dvd/cds).

as for Radiohead, i got to see them this past summer twice and they were the best concerts that i went to, not just did they put on a great light show, but they are an amazing live band.

so for me it's a tie between those two

^The Who probably would have been better a few decades ago :P

Muse/Coldplay because those are the best bands!

Metallica/U2 - both have legendary performances

R.E.M/Radiohead - Ill never regret their concerts

the Who, Bruce, U2 and of course Coldplay, oh Elton John was insane, back in the day, Chicken outfits, etc.

I must admit U2 were awesome when I saw them.

However, how can you even be really objective if you never had the chance to see the likes of The Beatles, Elvis, The Doors or Hendrix?

hmmmm, the Doors. Would have loved that:rolleyes:

Me too.;)

Pink Floyd

I've only seen The Hoosiers, The Pigeon Detectives, Elliot Minor, Cage The Elephant and some other smaller bands..

out of the bands i've saw i'd probably have to say muse :D

That doesn't answer the question.......................................

I haven't actually seen U2 live, but they're live footage just made it for me.

^And they're 100 times better than their live footage when you actually see them live.
