October 21, 200817 yr A dog in Scotland accompanies the opening credits to Coronation Street by barking out the theme tune. Owner Claire May told The Aberdeen Press And Journal that her two-year-old collie/lurcher cross Alba begins to sing when he hears the sponsor's message. She said: "He whines a couple of times and then when the music starts he begins howling. When he's finished he just goes back to whatever he was doing. "He just started doing it himself. It began with a bit of a whine but now when it comes on it's a full-blown howl. "We've no idea why but he's been doing it for as long as we've had him, which is almost two years." May added that Alba has begun to sing along with other soap theme tunes: "He's started doing it with the music for Emmerdale, The Bill and sometimes EastEnders. "Again, we don't know why and have wondered if it's something to do with a certain pitch. Mind you, he could be saying 'get that rubbish off', you never know." http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/odd/a133125/dog-barks-along-to-corrie-theme-tune.html
