if your saying the truth and life in technicolor II only has as lyrics "baby it's a violent world" I won't buy the ep, but I think you are wrong since Chris said they put only an instrumental version of it because it looked like an obvious single, so a song with only 5 words wouldn't hit the charts, would it?

I think what he meant was that these are the only words we (probably?) know, not that these are the only ones, right?

I confess I don't know anything about this leaking video or what it was... I only hear (or read :)) about "the leak" - but have no further clue.

During an interview before or right after? the CD was released.

 

Chris was talking about LIT, and how people who listened to it started deeming it the next single. So the boys kind of went to hell with it and put on the instrumental, partly because they didn't think the LIT with lyrics fit the "flow of the album".

 

He went on to sing a line from the LIT with lyrics which was "Baby, it's a violet world". And I assume the rest is good too, if it was thought to be a single.

 

 

 

So "baby, it's a violent world" obviously aren't the whole lyrics, but just the only part we know.

yea he sang the beginning of LiT ii on a Q radio interview and those were the lyrics that he sang. so that should be how the song starts. and then in another interview (i think it was rolling stone) they said that in ONE part he sings 'baby it's a violent world'
