What would you guys do if you were elected President?

 

On my first term I would:

 

1. Abolish the IRS and income tax.

 

2. Bring all our troops home, no matter where they are in the world.

 

3. End the public education system, making all schools private.

 

4. Peg the dollar to gold again, and abolish the Federal Reserve.

 

5. End all government welfare programs (which would be easy after getting rid of the IRS, because these programs couldn't be paid for).

 

Oh yeah, and I'd have Coldplay perform at my swearing-in ceremony. And some other cool bands that don't get enough radio airtime.

if these things were possible, i would make all schools small and private by opening up hundreds of new schools and limiting class and school sizes. i would make healthcare entirely universal, allow gay marriage...i'll think of more. i'm not as well-versed in this stuff as you are, though.

Well you'd need to figure out a way to make healthcare cheaper for poor people. So you could limit lawsuits against hospitals and doctors. (Tort reform)

Agree with the not Jesus thing, he is only one man. The crappy economy is out of the gov't's control. I do hate his position on ethanol also, totally in the corn industry's pocket.

 

I'm also hoping Obama and McCain supporters play nice tonight, we don't need no crazy violence stories.
