i have friends who think they're okayyish.

 

including my sister. who came with me to two freaking coldplay concerts. i thought she's come out there loving them. but no, she just hates great music.

Mmmm Chavi ,Sandy, Marsu, ColdJo And Chris2 maybe my father ! And my classmates Kévin, Amandine, Emmeline and Gabrielle !

 

Most people in my class are musicians before being artists ! Many know but what I just mentioned are really Fans ! ;)

Well, I've successfully converted a few of my friends to Coldplay fans, none of them are obsessed like me but a couple of them are really into them :) My family like them as well. My girlfriend doesn't like them much though which is a shame :(

 

I recommended Coldplay songs to one of my best friends. And she told me that when she listened to those songs,

 

she would think of me. But I know that she listened to those songs just because she did not want to disappoint me.

 

Actually, she show no passion at all.

Like basically everyone else who has posted, I know nobody, everyone hates them :(

 

All of my friends listen to stuff like Radiohead and Of Montreal, etc., and therefore think they're way too "cool" for Coldplay :rolleyes: I'm sort of a secret/ really low-key Coldplay fan at school, but I do wear my Coldplay shirts and sweatshirt proudly :D

 

That's why I come here, I don't need to be secret or low-key!

That is why I joined here.

 

After seeing them in Oklahoma City everything I love about them has grown and grown.

 

I needed an outlet, and people who understand why I would think that show was the best I had ever seen, and why this band has changed a lot about me.

My older sister liked them for awhile, she went to their concert with me in 06. But then she d/l VLVODAAHF and proceeded to tell me how bad it was. She had never even listened to their albums FFS.

 

My friend is coming around though. I gave her the album for her bday and she keeps telling me how great it is- yay!

Quite a few actually (not always as crazy as I am), including my 3 best friends, my roommate, my brothers, and a lot of my friends like them as well.

My mum and dad, my sister (sometimes) and a few of my friends like them. But not as much as I do.

Same here. Some of my friends like them, but not as much as me ^^ As for my family: my mum & sister are hopeless but my dad recognize them on the radio and kinda like them. :D

You are so lucky. My parents can not understand English but they like Coldplay's music. But my mon is not happy cuz she thinks I am too crazy about them.:(

I know a few crazy Coldplayers, though I'm undoubtedly the worst offender of the bunch. The friend that first introduced me to them? Yeah. I've surpassed him. At the concert, he was loud, but I was louder, which he couldn't believe. I've dragged much of my family into the pit, also (especially my mom).

 

The girl I'm seeing is currently indifferent to them (i.e. typical radio junkie whose main exposure is hearing Viva or Lovers on the radio every hour). I'll work on her as time goes on. I really oughta shove Coldplay down her throat in a similar fashion to how she shoves all her problems down mine.
