You should ask yourself why I don't actually have any conflict with any mods apart from Ren and Lore.

Ren and Lore's attitude towards me came through loud and clear during this latest "spat" (if you want to call it that).

 

They were also instrumental in setting up a group about me which serves no purpose except to antagonise. I don't believe the forming of any "hate" group like that should be allowed, and the fact it was started by a mod (Ren) is deplorable in my opinion. I still feel it should be removed.

It would be a bit like me forming a group called "If you think Ren and Lore are bad mods, this is the group for you", which of course would be removed immediately.;)

They should be defusing such situations if they get out of hand, that's all.

If they want to participate in squabbles, then fine - but they shouldn't remain as mods.

Although nobody was blameless in this squabble, I'm sure it would have fizzled out far earlier if they hadn't got involved.

You said bitter and malicious comments in my winning award thread and then you hide saying it was a joke.You just admitted you don't like us so why "joke" in our threads if it isn't to annoy us? You should've ignored us the way we ignore you and avoided all this.

 

Secondly,if you wanna make me look bad in front of Jen at least do it by telling the truth. I didn't create that group, i just joined because i think your humour sucks and i'm tired of your rolling eyes. This just proves not everyone here likes your humour but that's a different matter to discuss. No mod created that thread and i deserve an apology because you just accused me of something i didn't just to make me look bad and i feel offended by that.

OK, I can see it was actually started by another one of your "mates", but you still participated in a group which was started purely with the intention of antagonising another board member, which is totally against the spirit of the board. Because of your position, you shouldn't be condoning something like that, as it shows bias.;)

If the group hadn't actually referred to me in any shape or form, I wouldn't have had a problem with it. Negative threads containing people's usernames were banned (quite rightly), and it should be the same with groups.

 

This just proves not everyone here likes your humour but that's a different matter to discuss.

That's actually not true. My opinion of you as a mod is purely related to your apparently biased attitude towards me (for whatever reason), and the fact you only ever say negative things about me and always take the other person's side in arguments that take place on here. The same goes for Lore.

That has nothing to do with my opinion of your behaviour, and it isn't fair of you to drag up things which can no longer be discussed. That's an old issue, and one which is far more complex than you have made it seem here.

A lot of it involved my reaction to the creation of negative threads about me.

Such threads were quite rightly banned as a result, so something good came out of it at least.

I am still of the opinion I should have been given another chance once everything had blown over, because of these extenuating circumstances.

Nothing more should be said on this issue ever. I have now taken up this matter with Jen, by the way.

Anyway, the fact that this happened makes me even more qualified to comment on your behaviour, as you seem to have repeated your particular indicretions and got away with it.

Anyway, if I have any issue with you in future I will report it to Ian or Jen, as Jen said. You therefore can't criticise me for doing so, as they have said that's the correct way to go about things.

I find it very childish that you feel the need to keep bumping his old threads just because you "miss" him. That's very lame indeed in my opinion.

Fair enough, but if you don't want things like "usual suspects" being mentioned, I suggest you don't participate in groups created with such names. If you really want to make peace, it would be a "gesture" if you could have that group disbanded, as we both know what that's about.

Obviously you don't have to, but it would be a positive thing to do in the circumstances.

True, but you could always have a word with them in the interests of "entente cordiale". I'm sure anything you say on the matter would carry weight.

As the group doesn't actually name me or anything, it isn't such a big deal, but I do see it as rather unnecessary in the circumstances.

There's no really a "group" against you. It's not like the four of us go off coldplaying and sign on msn and have a massive convo and plan how to pick on you.

I'm just friends with Lore because i got to know her and she's uber cool, I haven't had the chance to talk to Jack that much but he's a decent guy and i respect him, and i've barely talked to Nathan but now i understand how his jokes work and he's playing a character here so i dont really mind him but we're not buddies like you might think. We just happened to be four different individuals who had something in common (or who felt offended by some of your comments like i was) and that were tagged as "usual suspects" among other names.

So as you can see, you have better chances if you speak to them individually because i can'treally represent them.It's like you said, i'm a mod after all and i should stay away from arguments and that's what i plan to do for respect to Jen and Ian.

 

And yes ,sounds fair. I'll take your word on that :)
