Thalia, you make me laugh so much.

And no, Prospekt, you do not get to find out what they were talking about. Only I can know.

Nah, I don't even know. :P

Lol alright alright. Looking forward to it anyway.

I feel like all of a sudden, there's a lack of Chris. Which may be the result of everyone straying away from him because at one point there may have been too many Chris stories. (Pshh... like that's even possible)

Lol alright alright. Looking forward to it anyway.

I think you may be right. Chris used to be central in pretty much every single story, so now it seems more people are trying on Guy for size.

...:inquisitive:

Does that last sentence even make sense?

I'm pretty sure Guy has the smallest feet in the band.

So you know in relation to that and what it may suggest.. I don't think he's much for size.

I believe size wise we'd be looking at Jonny>Chris>Will>Guy.

I dunno what I'm talking about, but it's not innocent.

oh, nothing..

:laugh3::hug:!!!!!!

Teheh I think you're right, there seems to be less Chris stories, which I think is great, because that means that there is less crying!:laugh3:

No seriously, with the other guys you have other characteristics, which makes it more interesting to write about them

I wrote a little Chris/Will (friendship) short story. I'll post it soon!

And good news--it's not angst! :P

“Fucking hell, man, you’re not trying to give us an ulcer!” I snapped. The sourness of his salad dressing made my eyelids flutter and my throat tighten. “Put more oil in that. A lot more oil.”

Chris put the bowl down hard, making dressing slop over the sides. “I can’t do this, Will!”

“Of course you can.”

“You keep telling me I’m doin’ it wrong.”

“Well, you are.” I said, plucking the salt out of his hands. I took a pinch and put it over the mixture of lemon juice and olive oil. Then I grabbed the dried basil off the counter and handed it to him. “Put some in.” I demanded, grinning slightly.

He stared at me angrily for a moment, then finally took the herbs and sprinkled some into the bowl. I shoved his hand away a bit early, just to make sure he didn’t overdo it. I peered into the bowl and nodded. “Stir?” he asked tentatively.

“If you want.”

“Well, should I?”

“Fine, stir!” He bit his lip and set to work on the dressing, sweat dotting his brow. I felt sort of bad for him; Chris was no natural chef. He probably had to be one of the worst I’d ever seen. He could barely prepare the macaroni and cheese that came in a bloody box.

Teaching him how to make salad dressing was turning out to be a harder endeavor than I’d imagined, but I wasn’t about to back down from the challenge. “There.” he said proudly, handing me the mixture. I inspected it, and then dipped a clean finger in to taste it. Surprisingly, it wasn’t half bad.

“Nice, Chris. It’s good.” I assured him, smiling. Chris practically beamed with happiness.

“It’s good?”

“Yes.” I said, rolling my eyes. I hesitated slightly before handing him the wooden spoon I’d been using to stir the pasta. He held it as if it were an animal about to bite him.

“Ah, Will...?”

“Mm?”

“Take it back.” he plead, holding the spoon out to me. I nudged his hand away, shaking my head. “Will.”

“Chris.”

“I can’t do it!”

“Nonsense.” I knew I was taking a risk, but I wanted Chris to learn how to cook. “I’m gonna take a quick shower, okay? Just stir the pasta occasionally and taste it to see when it’s ready. You know what it’s supposed to feel like. When it’s done, turn off the stove.” I gestured to the draining pot in the sink. “Put it in there, get the water out, then put it back into the pot. Understand?”

He nodded slowly. “Then jump out a third story window.”

“Very good. I’ll be right back.” I laughed, giving him a pat on the shoulder. He was so terrified he was nearly shaking. “Relax, mate, you’ll do fine.”

He merely shrugged and turned to stare at the pot, perhaps hoping it would disappear.

The moment I finished bathing, I rushed out of the shower, dried myself, and pulled on fresh clothes as quickly as I could. I was beginning to regret leaving Martin alone with the pasta, which was the only food we had. I rushed downstairs as I finished struggling into my shirt. Chris was waiting for me at the bottom, and I nearly ran into him. “Christ!” I groaned, leaning back. “Watch it.”

“You’re gonna hate me.” he muttered.

“Why?” I asked cautiously.

He took me by the sleeve and led me into the kitchen. He speared a pierce of penne with a fork and handed it to me. I ate it, chewing slowly. Oh, god. It was far too moist and soft. I grimaced slightly, about to rebuke him for being dense enough to let it go for so long. Then I sighed, immediately deciding against it. He was trying hard enough; it wasn’t his fault he had no idea how to handle food. Besides, he knew he’d done it wrong, and looked deeply apologetic for it. “Sorry.” he muttered.

“It’s okay.” I assured. “You just let it go a little too long.” I put the fork in the sink and leaned against the counter, wondering what we should do. At least we had a salad.

“I’m really sorry...”

“You’ll do better next time.” I reassured, trying to remember the number for the nearest pizza place. Chris leaned forward and handed me a slip of paper. It was the number I’d been thinking of. “Thanks.” I said, grinning despite myself.

“You’re welcome.” he muttered, rubbing the back of his neck self-consciously. I decided in that moment that tomorrow we would try cooking again. I was determined to teach him, even if it landed me in a gastrointestinal nightmare. But for now, all I wanted to do was share dinner with my friend and enjoy the time we had. It didn’t matter if the dinner was home cooked or not.

But one day, I would teach him.

I would.

Thats so funny Kyra!

Chapter 2

Chris’s PoV

“I just got off the phone with Guy, he’s coming. Did ya talk to Jon?” I said looking up at Will.

“Yeah, he is on the way. The lazy fuck wasn’t even awake when I called.” Will rolled his eyes and laughed.

“Neither was Guy. Do you think something is wrong with him? He is never late.” I said a little worried. I started to fidget and I was getting impatient.

“ I am sure he is fine. Will you stop that?!” Will walked over to me and grabbed the drumstick I was banging against a speaker. “You need to calm yourself. When you are this hyper you usually end up hurting yourself or someone else.” He gestured to my eyebrow, which was still slightly swollen. I smiled and punched him lightly on the shoulder.

“When have I hurt anyone else?”

“You haven’t yet, But that doesn’t mean you won’t.” He smiled and punched me back, I winced. It was harder than I punched.

“Hey guys.” Guy was walking toward us, he looked dead on his feet.

“Jesus Guy, you look like hell.” I said walking up to him. He backed away slightly. Maybe I am too hyper.

He yawned. “Thanks. Am I the last to arrive?”

“Nope, still waiting on Jonny-boy. But he is always late.” Guy sat down, and I sat beside him and put my hand on his shoulder. “You okay?”

He looked at my hand then at me “Yeah, I am fine, just tired” He plastered a huge Guy-like grin on his face. It seemed like he was trying too hard to convince me. I was about to say something else when I was interrupted.

“You guys done with this love-fest? Jonny is here.” I stuck my tongue out at Will, but out of the corner of my eye I saw Guy blush. I got up to welcome Jonny.

“Finally Jon. Are you ready to get to work?”

“Yep. Lets’ make like a rock and roll.” Jonny said smiling. All four of us laughed. Making Jonny grin wider.

“Great Jonny-boy.” I put my arm around his shoulders and walked toward the stage. I glanced at Guy. He was no longer smiling.

I don’t know why I made jonny say that rock thing lol
