I don't think it's such an easy thing to do to learn a language i know nothing about just by reading stuff other people have written.

I studied a tiny bit of italian some years ago and i understand a tiny tiny bit of spanish too thanks to watching spanish tv-shows and having friends who speak spanish. I'd definitely take proper classes to learn a new language though.

once upon a time..

jk. :x so my mom is mexican, my dad italian.

my dad went to mexico for business, met my mom & they got married.

they moved back to italy, me & my brother were born, so when i was little i went to mexico every summer, cuz we are very close to my family in mexico, therefore my mom tought me spanish, & in school they thought me italian.

 

then some years back we moved here to the US (new mexico: south), cuz of my dad's job.

FIN.
