thank god my friends weren't drunk and didn't want to party like maniacs either.

 

My friends neither, which was quite unexpected, when I think of how it was the last time. I celebrated the new year with some friends and some of their boyfriends. It was nice and fun. More cozy and less party that I'd expected, as it nearly was a "drinking-competition the last time". No one got really drunk. We danced,watched some movies and fired and watched fireworks...:nice:

My friends and I wanted to celebrate New Year's Eve in Paris, but two of my friends got sick 1 day ago so we decided to cancel our hotel in Paris. We jumped over the border and drove to Amsterdam instead which was quite amazing! I'm absolutely in love with the Netherlands! :D

 

They had a stage directly "op de dam" and some Dutch artists and bands performed there like Anouk Teeuwe as she's famous in Germany, too. It was a great night and an exciting experience to use the "nachtbus" back to the Amsterdam ArenA (Ajax) in the early morning. :D

I was going to have a party at my house but my friends sort of blew off so now I'm not sure what I'll do :thinking: It's my birthday so I want to do something fun but we'll see what happens

I stayed at home, three friends came around, we watched Spiderman for some reason, laughed at Norman Osborn, watched the London fireworks on the tv and played some boardgames... we were going to drink but couldn't be bothered in the end! haha :uhoh:

Yeah it was good, but very cold and I came home this morning at 8am and slept until 3pm. :lol: So it was a bit exhausting but absolutely worth it! :)

 

Glad you had a great time, too. Do people in England also watch "Dinner for one" at New Year's Eve? :)

ah that sucks.. i was feeling sick too but i went over my friend's place anyway.. I went home around 1am though 'cause my head was aching tooo much and i couldn't take it anymore :sick:

I was on town square!!! Drinking, dancing, singing. I cant talk today, so Im communicating by writing notes to everyone.

Well, I ended up spending time with ym friends. We played games, some of us drank (some more than others!) Just basic fun stuff.

 

Some people were shooting guns off in the neighborhood at midnight. That was...interesting.
