My friend just got a very nice new HD TV for Christmas so I think she wants to have some people over so we can just watch some movies and then watch the ball drop in Times Square... it'll be a nice relaxing night. :) I'm not sure if that's what I'm doing though because I still haven't figured out what my boyfriend is doing that night.... at the moment he has no plans so I think I will try and convince him to come with me to my friend's!

i usually go over my friend's house for a quiet celebration every year, which i really like. usually we goof off and eat fondue and watch movies till midnight, then we watch the ball drop and run around the yard with sparklers and confetti like loons :nice:. this year we've got leftover christmas crackers and 2009 glasses. classy, huh? :P

I was going to have a party at my house but my friends sort of blew off so now I'm not sure what I'll do :thinking: It's my birthday so I want to do something fun but we'll see what happens

Ah, that sounds like fun! I wanted my new year's eve to be like that.. i ended up having a headache and not enjoying the evening that much.. :sick: thank god my friends weren't drunk and didn't want to party like maniacs either.

But i would have wanted to watch movies and just chill. Maybe next year!
