I didn't mean or hint that it was the new members who were causing these problems, because these name threads and conversation threads have been here for as long as I have, and that's quite a while.

 

I just personally think that The Lounge should be about real conversation, or cool things that everyone can talk about or be a part of. It's like, if I create a thread for people to put tshirts on their heads and act like ninjas, everyone can do it.

 

As much as these people don't mean to clutter the Lounge with their conversation threads, they do. Because there's so many groups formed on an online messageboard that they just tend to dominate certain threads and because of that the conversation goes a certain way. Once that happens, not everyone can reply and a lot of the time, if they do, their posts are just looked over in favour of someone else.

 

 

I really don't have a problem with The Lounge or the threads in it, but I totally agree with your comment that's in bold. In many ways, it reminds me of school where you have your clicks and groups and it's hard for anyone to become part of something.
