Julie
i've never had sex, but i think it isnt all that necessary when you have a relationship. ya, it could be a nice add on. but i would only have sex if i had a strong relationship with them. Jack
I think it's admirable that you think like that and I hope it ends up being true for you and everyone else, I just personally feel that it's unrealistic to assume it'll be like that. If the attitude you have for everything is that it's always enjoyable then, well.... I can't understand how that can be possible. And it's not a case of you loving something more than me. It's just human nature, in my opinion.
Guest Grace
i think it's an important part. i guess you cannot have a healthy relationship if you don't feel a certain sexual tension between you and your partner.
WV Gal
Well I am the only one (currently) who thinks that it's a must in a relationship. But, I am not thinking of sex as something that you can have with anyone. I am viewing sex in terms of being with the person you love with all your heart and soul. Sex (love making) is the ultimate form of expression between two people. It's a beautiful and wonderful thing. Lovers want to show their deep love and desire for their partner in the most wonderful act and that is sex (love making). I say it's a must because no matter what one says ("I can live with just the touches and other stuff') deep down inside they really do want the ultimate act. They want that ultimate connection and who doesn't? Sex is nothing when you are not with the one you truly love but once you're with that one person then you'll know how wonderful and important it really is. It's a shame when one person values it more than their partner. If you can't keep that fire and desire going then what is going to happen to the relationship? I know I didn't express myself in the best way but I am freaking tired 'cause I haven't slept in 24 hours. LOL!!

I'm not sure if I completely agree but I can definately see your points.
Ms Magpie
It's important to me. It's not everything but it is a huge part of a relationship. Problems in relationship do reflect in sex; and vice versa.

It's a must for me personally but I don't think it's an issue if both partners agree not to have sex. However, if you do it is quite important. I don't think you can be happy in a realationship if you are not sexually compatible with your partner. Also I disagree that you can only enjoy sex with someone you truly love. WV Gal
Also I disagree that you can only enjoy sex with someone you truly love. I am not saying that you can only enjoy sex with someone you love. What I mean by sex is nothing without the person you love is that the true ultimate feeling and enjoyment of love is not there if you're not with the one you love. Sex is good no matter who you are with. Well, it's good if they know how to please and know what they're doing (:laugh3:), but it's more pleasureable when you are with someone you love. You can have sex with anyone, but you can only make love to one person and that's the one you love. I think more emotions, brain chemicals, and other factors make sex (love making) more enjoyable to the person. BTW..thanks for reading my post. :)
