Just like to point out that it's a Popart painting, so the guys are more caricatures than lookalikes.

It's weird but well painted. You could indeed sell it.

It is a huge painting and would look great on your wall. It looks a lot better in the flesh than it does in the photographs.

WOW :shocked2: thats fantastic - too bad I'm also too poor - 50 pounds is practically like one million rand in my country - we hate the British that come on holiday to Cape Town with ten pounds and stay for a year!!:D

Thanks guys....I'm glad you all like it. I will be doing more and some smaller and cheaper ones. Even 50 pounds is cheap for that one though. Most artists would put it up between 200 and 400 probably. Thanks for your lovely comments :)

I've reposted the thread for my Chris martin popart as the link for it is now lost in this thread.

 

As for the thread about your popart project I would have done Chris sitting alone on a snowy hill and use snow as the theme and include lyrics from 'Violet Hill'. Or you could do something along the lines of poverty and tie it in with a 'Make Poverty History' theme?

You could add you link for your painting as your siggy and then it will be linked in every post you make.

Well, we spend our money in cd's, dvd's, magazines, general merch, tickets to gigs and at times flights and accomodation to said gigs...... art??? not so much :P
