Right now we are talking about "The Rise of Soverignty"- The transition to the modern state.

And we are talking about things like Monarchs and elites as state builders, and the rise and fall of Hapsburg Spain, growth of french power, Louis XIV,Pico de mirandola, Machiavelli, Martin Luther, Bishop Bossuet, Thomas hobbes... a bunch of stuff.

 

It all just jumbles together to me and gets me confused!!!
