Can someone give me a little background on Apparatjik.Im not too familiar with them.All I know is that Guy is involved with them.What exactly is Guy's involvement with the band?

Can someone give me a little background on Apparatjik.Im not too familiar with them.All I know is that Guy is involved with them.What exactly is Guy's involvement with the band?

Apparatjik is made up of Guy, Magne Furuholmen(Mags) from A ha, Jonas Bjerre from the band Mew... and Martin Terefe

basically they all got together one time to record a track for the BBC series Amazon, Songs for Survival.....(that song was called Ferreting) and ever since then i guess they really liked working together and have been recording some songs here and there. They got together back in January and it looks like they got a lot done then :) hopefully thats a beginning for you ;)

and we arent quiet sure what all Guy is doing or what any of their actual roles are in the band....their music is pretty experimental and so they all seem to be trying new and different things... Guy seems to be singing along with Mags in a few of the songs and if u listen closely you can hear his sexy voice!! :wacky: also of course he is prolly playing bass....and from the Apparatjik Mayhem video that they had up, he is working on the computer some.

What might it be like? The lyric video is nice but I would have loved to see Coldplay attempt a music video for it. It's not unusual for songs as long as Coloratura to have music videos - Blackstar by David Bowie had a great one - but usually they're larger in scope because of the length of the song. I'd like to think something along the lines of Up&Up's video would work. But or course that's already been done, and very well. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Previously unheard song from before the Seoul show today. Looks like they might be ready to start soundchecking some new songs again.
