I met Chris' dad last week and he is LOVELY, such a great guy, I can see why Chris turned out so lovely. We chatted for a while, but one question I didn't ask him (didn't want to be nosey!) , and it's totally random...I wonder what type of car Chris drives? I have always wondered. I know it's such an odd thing to ask! Does anyone know?

I remember seeing a paparazzi pic not that long ago, but he was getting in a VW Golf. I thought that was kind of cool.

Gwyneth drives a Toyota Prius, so I guess that's a family car.

 

But Chris doesn't have his own car nor does he drive often. He cycles a lot :)

Quick story whilst we are on this topic. After the friday gig I went to a couple of weeks back, I was making my way down the stands to get over the barrier and get some confetti. I was going down the stairs and there was a group of people I couldn't get past, and there was an old guy, who was talking to everyone who had the VIP badge that read "Anthony Martin" and I ignored it, just got round them and went on. Then as I was walking out the arena I thought "FUCK! That was Chris' dad!!" :laugh4:.

We were all staying at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne......Phil Harvey introduced him to us at reception in the evening after the concert, and we spent over an hour chatting to him there, and then he invited us for coffee the next morning, We spent over 2 hours with him. He said I was probably the biggest Coldplay fan he had ever met. That's probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me! :) He really is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

b) Hahaha, he definitely is not bald, so why is Chris so crazy about it? I always figured his dad went bald at like 20, so that's why he was terrified :P

Baldness runs on the mother's side of the family so it doesnt matter if Chris's dad has hair.You have to find out about his grandfather and uncles on his mother's side
