Chris Misses out on MJ

Featured Replies

MJ used to be pretty great. The last albums were kinda bad but well.I never listen to him anymore but his earlier stuff was good. The whole Last Tour thing is kinda weird to me.I think he might just need money and he knew people were gonna buy tickets.....little children rumours or not

 I think alot of what Chris says should be seen as tongue in cheek anyway! Imagine him having to try and book general tickets over the internet - please :laugh3:

Nah, MJ was so great. He is a brilliant artist in the whole of history. He is amazing. We should'nt be saying these things about him. Its a chance to see younger fans have their chance to see them live, so it dont really matter if hes not as good, but he, who knows, maybe he'll pull it off.

The only thing he's likely to "pull off" is his plastic face......................... :P

:laugh3: He may try, but even if he got them he wouldn't understand how to get them :P

I reckon his face will fall off well before that..............................

mc_squared you are beyond pathetic, you know?

if you don't get to appreciate the GENIUS that is MICHAEL JACKSON then you are just an asshole.

will you just STFU with all those lame-ass jokes? they are so old. the king of pop is back so all of those who don't like it can go to hell.

and yeah, I am so happy that Chris is a fan. a musical genius loves another musical genius, that is just perfect.

cya in London bitchez.

(i'd give Chris a ticket if I had an extra one... :( )

oh and btw ban me if you want, i don't care - it's the same thing that idiots Slipknot and Kid Rock say about Coldplay being lame boy-band. Bite me , I am not staying quiet.

why do you guys make fun of michael he has the best voice ever and one of the best overall musical acts ever

exactly.

:inquisitive: is this not a joke?

oh..... sorry....

Here's a quick thought....perhaps Chris was actually on this very site, reading all and sundry when he saw the MJ tickets advert at the top and this is where and how he looked into the matter! :stunned:

Yeah I dont really understand why anything to do with Michael Jackson in the slightest has to turn into just slinging insults at him. Chris was paying him a compliment, why can't we leave it at that? is there some feeling here that theres a need to now balance out the negative/positive in the universe by making tired and obvious jokes about his face and the kid molestation charges?

I dunno, no need to be so mean spirited is there?

Anyway... I like MJ's older stuff over his newer stuff as well, and its the older material that keeps managing to influence and inspire artists today. He may not be as prolific as he once was, but he's still the guy who made all those hit records and danced amazingly and all that. To anyone who's going to see him, hope you have tons of fun!

Thanks Krystyna for not being limited.

I must say that even though his 80's stuff is more influential, his 90's stuff is much more mature,musically... Dangerous is such a dark, deep album - songs like Who Is It, Give In To Me, Will You Be There carry a certain depth that are just amazing - the lyrics, the musical structure...

Also, HIStory is,even though weaker than Dangerous,MJ's musically the best album - pay attention to details and you'll see what I am talking about :)

However I must admit that Invincible was not a very good album - it had some good songs, but the main idea is a bit weak.

Sorry if I am bothering you guys. Just so excited about the concert... :)

You guys are missing the point.

Wacko was a supremely talented child singer. That is beyond doubt.

"Off The Wall" and "Thriller" were also great albums. No question.

However, since then it has been downhill all the way for him, what with all the weirdness, ruining his features, concentrating far too much on the dancing instead of the singing (he is meant to be a singer first and foremost, after all).

Most of what he released in the nineties was insipid, self-indulgent, nauseating tosh.

"Invincible" was a terrible album and deservedly flopped big-time.

Wacko hasn't released a decent song in years and is living on his past glories.

Miming in concert is unforgivable. Anybody can do that.

What's more, he has some of the most deluded fans I've ever seen.

This comeback tour is only about money and nothing else.

If people want to pay these extortionate ticket prices to go and watch someone mime and clown around, then fine, but it's just the same as forking out that kind of cash to go and watch musical theatre.;)

It's all just smoke and mirrors.

smugsmugsmug

I see no point

I see no point

You're obviously one of the countless deluded ones.

I'm not sure he has it in him to complete all 50 dates, but if he does? Magnificent! Either way, the man is a musical legend and I think it's wonderful fans of all sorts (even Chris!) have an opportunity to see him live one last time. :) I don't consider myself a huge fan, but I love his stuff from the 80s and early 90s, so I'd go see him for posterity's sake. That is, if the cost of seeing him wouldn't eat me out of house and home. :P

MJ was a good artist, yes, but I don't see why people have to be making fun of the fact he has plastic surgery all the time, that's a self-image disorder. An actual disorder. He seems to want to be always changing his appearance as well, I don't find that a laughing matter personally.

I agree. I'm no therapist (yet!), but I do believe Michael Jackson more than likely has a plethora of mental illnesses - BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder) being one of them. So in my mind, making fun of him would be no different than making fun of someone with down syndrome, cancer, or any other type of illness - mental or otherwise. But that's just me.

You're obviously one of the countless deluded ones.

well i'd rather be deluded than ignorant and brainwashed like you. beat it loser.

It's just as likely that you have been brainwashed into believing that he's "whiter than white".............................

beat it loser.

That's just plain bad............................................... :dozey:

my suggestion - just stick to what you like and forget what you don't - when you leave comments on the things you hate and trying to be smart and witty... you are most often not.

resellers and scalpers at work again

I think the real story here is not about Michael but about ticketing practices ... again! FIFTY dates at Wembley sold out in a few hours?? I just don't believe that they all went to fans. Why isn't Chris using this opportunity to point out the problems with ticketing that we've been discussing ad infinitum in the NA tour threads. 50 dates! I believe that the re-sellers and scalpers are probabaly buying up huge blocks for later resale at grossly inflataed prices. The working class fan will soon nolonger be able to go to live concerts at all. So sad. And so wrong.

i agree with you...

Actually, it's about time people started to be able to accept criticism about things they like rather than flying off the handle about it.;)

Or even "mime" shows for that matter!!:P

yeah but it seems that what youre doing is just trying to provoke people who disagree with you. And what criticism could you possibly add to a Michael Jackson related discussion that hasn't been said a million times over by most media outlets and much of the general public? Nothing new. Not constructive. Just provocation. :inquisitive:

Let's not ruin the fun for the people who get to see the MJ shows with this silliness.

Anyway Im done responding to posts like yours, there's really no point. It is like Ricky Gervais says equivalent to replying to arguments on bathroom stalls.
