You guys are missing the point.

Wacko was a supremely talented child singer. That is beyond doubt.

"Off The Wall" and "Thriller" were also great albums. No question.

However, since then it has been downhill all the way for him, what with all the weirdness, ruining his features, concentrating far too much on the dancing instead of the singing (he is meant to be a singer first and foremost, after all).

Most of what he released in the nineties was insipid, self-indulgent, nauseating tosh.

"Invincible" was a terrible album and deservedly flopped big-time.

Wacko hasn't released a decent song in years and is living on his past glories.

Miming in concert is unforgivable. Anybody can do that.

What's more, he has some of the most deluded fans I've ever seen.

This comeback tour is only about money and nothing else.

If people want to pay these extortionate ticket prices to go and watch someone mime and clown around, then fine, but it's just the same as forking out that kind of cash to go and watch musical theatre.;)

It's all just smoke and mirrors.

Who is Wacko? I've never heard of a Wacko.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand...yeah, I HAVE heard of him. He's an incredibly talented musician, songwriter, singer, dancer, and overall entertainer, who has released some of the best pop music the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today has ever known.

Oh, and just so you know, Michael will be singing live. Not lip syncing.

That's his pseudonym.

But that was all in the past, and he hasn't released anything decent in years.;)

I'll believe it when I see/hear it.;)

Granted, the man sort of has made a mockery of himself over the past 10-15 years, but the fact remains....his music is timeless and he is talented.

But will he still be able to dance like he did all those years ago?? He might do himself an injury!!:stunned:

:laugh3: you guys! :laugh3:

so you are going to the concerT?

You're obviously one of the countless deluded ones.

Yes, I belong in a mental institute. Nice work kiddo, you just got yourself an F minus!

I agree. I'm no therapist (yet!), but I do believe Michael Jackson more than likely has a plethora of mental illnesses - BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder) being one of them. So in my mind, making fun of him would be no different than making fun of someone with down syndrome, cancer, or any other type of illness - mental or otherwise. But that's just me.

Body Dysmorphic Disorder, that's what I meant! Yeah I see it the same way, it's the same as making fun of someone with dyslexia or ADD. Not cool guys.

exactly. plus there is MEDICAL and PHOTOGRAPHIC proof that Michael has vitiligo - the skin disease. you can learn more if you want to...

and yeah LiquidSky , I am going to the 30th july cvoncert :)

However, now we're all missing out on MJ. :(

I'm glad there was at least a tribute on Coldplay.com

It was very cool to see a note about MJ on Coldplay.com.
