Phils lost.

RED SOX WON 18 TO 10 OVER BALTIMORE. :dance:

Oh, and who else lost?

That's right.

A little team called the METS.

:dance::dance::dance:!!

I'm glad you had a great day. The Sox win was bittersweet for me because the Cubs bullpen blew up (well, actually just Kevin Gregg). :veryangry2: :veryangry2:

It was a stupid fluky thing too for Castillo to sprain his ankle. I saw the video, and was dumbfounded at how he sprained his ankle. That stinks though...the last thing the Mets need. It seems like something that should happen to a Cubs player. You've heard the list of weird Cubs injuries, right? Dempster breaking his toe jumping over the dugout railing...Kerry Wood hurting his back getting out of a hot tub...Bob Howry hurting his back moving his grill...the list goes on.

Woohoo! Cardinals lost! Cubs are guaranteed first place even before they play today!

And now our fill-in pitcher for John Maine was hurt, so now we're in need of a backup backup pitcher. Oh, the wonderful world of the Mets fans.

Yep...been there. It sucks. What's horrible too is you get a guy back and someone else gets injured and goes on the DL. Not that the Mets' situation has been any better, but the Cubs have had the Opening Day lineup together for a whole 2 games this season...it's so frustrating.

Was at the Mets game today which was awesome since they won 9-0 over the Cardinals after last nights epic fail (and Castillo, WTF?!), but then you have the hilarity of Sheffield walking off the field with a hamstring injury and Niese throwing a warm up pitch after a split at first which didn't even get the out and collapsing to the mound. Apparently, he completely tore part of his right hamstring from the bone.

Someone should put this team in a bubble, I swear if I was any of those guys I'd be afraid to leave my house because at this point its just ridiculous!

It's funny, everytime I watch a Mets game someone gets hurt. I'm gonna stop watching for a while just to see what happens.

The Red Sox really need to get rid of Smoltz. He got pounded last night.

They're falling. They lost their third straight last night.

:bigcry:

At least the Mets lost, and the Phils won. That's good. My Phils have been HOT. :dance:!

I'm getting worried about the Sox too. I'm thinking Smoltz might be better suited for the bullpen right now. Actually, when they signed him I thought immediately that he'd be better suited for the bullpen. I wonder if they signed Byrd again to take over Smoltz's spot in the rotation.

Yes! The last game of the Red Sox vs Yankees series is going to be on ESPN tomorrow! FINALLY! :dance:!!

Hopefully they'll win. :uhoh:.

Oh my gosh I started cracking up when I saw the clip of the mets player who sprained his ankle walking down the dugout stairs and the pitcher who threw one pitch and is now out for the season.

:laugh3::lol::laugh4:

^ TEE HEE ISN'T IT FUNNY?!?!?!

:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

Yankees have been on a roll lately. Their bullpen is starting to look real good. Seems like Phil Hughes finally found his niche in the bullpen.

Oh, I know, Marisa, I know!! :laugh4:!!!

I. HATE. THE. DAMN. YANKEES!!!

:veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2::veryangry2:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, Red Sox. Can't you win ONE game anymore?!?!?!

What happened?!?!!??!

:bigcry:!!!

This is bad. This is really really really bad.

Red Sox are two and a half games away from losing their spot in second.

And five and a half games away from first.

Rays have been winning a lot. So have those STUPID Yankees.

Ugh, this is when the Bostonian comes out in me.

When the Yankees are in first.

And are winning series' over the Sox.

:angry:.

Okay, there's my rant.

Now to the Phils game.

I don't even know what happened, since I was at the movies most of the night.

But... jeez.

Come on, Hamels.

Get your head out of the clouds.

He's making way too much money now. He doesn't even know how to pitch anymore.

:dozey:.

Today's a new day.

:D
