I know.

But at least they've only lost their last two.

The Sox have lost their last five!

And the Phillies are five games up in 1st. :smug:.

The Red Sox are five and a half games behind first. :bigcry:.

One of my teams doing relatively well, the other, falling into pieces..

Moyer better pitch well today!!!!

He usually destroys the Marlins. So, he better you know keep doing that. :D

And I guess you're right Christina. Even if we loose today, we'll still have a 4 game lead

Welcome to the club.

:uhoh:.

Hopefully the Phils won't let the Marlins sweep today!!

Oh, and I made a Chase Utley wallpaper.

Thought I'd post it here for Phils fans... or Chase fans. :wink3:

Gonna go watch the Phils! Enjoy! :D

I'm certainly enjoying this year how the Cubs are mixing it up - waiting til the midpoint of the year to get then fans interested and inevitably letting us down at the end. Another dominant season like last year would have been too draining when they flop in the playoffs

Yay! Another Cubs fan! How crazy has this season been? I swear everytime someone is activated from the DL, someone else goes on it. But if Ramirez can avoid another DL stint I think they'll be OK, for the most part. They need Lilly back, and the good Z back. Plus, Bradley and Soriano need to start hitting again.

Moyer's prolly' going to the bullpen.

I don't know how I feel about that.

A) I'm a little worried about this Pedro Martinez guy.

B) Moyer needs at least two innings to get settled (which usually means letting a few runs go).

So, he'll probably be a terrible relief pitcher.

And all I'm going to say about the Red Sox is....

I have a friend who's a Yankees fan.

And he walked up to me this morning and asked "Didya see that game last night?"

And all I did was slap him in the face.

I'll do the same thing to anyone who brings up that game.

Or any other Red Sox game recently.

.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY TEAMS?!!?!? :bigcry:!!!

... I don't like this club.

The Mets and Yankees should be in this club.

Not the Phils and Red Sox.

I mean, come on!!

I think the road trip will do the Phils well.

As for the Red Sox, I don't really know what's going to happen. :uhoh:.

Just be grateful the Sox won the World Series twice in a decade. The Mets have won twice in their entire run as a team. Be thankful.

True.

But the Yankees have won like, 25 times.

Enough is enough.

:dozey:.

But Boston won last night!

And the Yanks lost! Let's keep this going! :P

The Phillies have only won twice as well

I'm going to chime in once and say, only once, that I HATE THE PHILLIES! Ok, now that I got that off my chest, I'm hoping Pedro's first start isn't a good one, for my own sanity. Or I at least hope that Samardjiza (I'm not even sure I spelled that right) pitches just a little better than Pedro, and that the Cubs' bullpen *cough*Marmol*cough* can keep it together at the end of the game.

:dozey:.

So.

I don't know if anyone saw the highlights, or was actually watching the Sox game the other night.

But Youk and the pitcher got in a fight.

And Youk got thrown out.

And his replacement, Lowell, hit two home runs.

It was AWESOME.

:smug:.

That was awesome! Except that Youk got thrown to the ground like it was nothing. But one of the most entertaining fights I've seen in a while. Plus, the final outcome was awesome too, of course!:D

^^^It was!! Ahh, I love Youk. :cheesy:

OHHHHMYGODDDD.

LAST NIGHT'S PHILS GAME.

It was like batting practice!!!

The evil twin Phils that have been taking over are gone, and now the Phils I used to know are BACK, BABY.

!!

OH.

AND JOHN CUSAK WAS THERE!

You can ask any of my friends.

Just say my name, and the words "John Cusak" and they will know.

I LOVE John Cusak.

He's seriously my favorite actor.

And I have a big crush on him. :wacky:.

So, there's my rant.

:D

^You don't have to remind me about last night's game...did you notice Rudy Giuliani was there too? I don't have any idea why he was there, but I have seen John Cusack at a bunch of Cubs games (not in person, but they always catch him on camera). John Belushi is at the game today, and Jeremy Piven is going to be there tomorrow to sing the stretch.

And the Cubs bats disappeared:angry::(:confused::veryangry2::cry:

...Along with the great pitching, but the pitching has been screwed over by injuries.:bomb:

Well, it finally happened. David Wright got hurt. AND Delgado's season is now in doubt. It's a mess out there.

On a good note, Billy Wagner (remember him?) may come back in a few weeks. Good. We really needed him.
