This is a heart warming story of an overnight sensation in the British music indusrty. It's been on all the North American entertainment magazine shows and I, for one, am a huge fan of 47 year old Miss Boyle, the self-confessed, unkissed virgin from Scotland. She truly is an inspiration!

It was also nice to see the jaws of music snobs drop and tears well up in so many eyes :shocked2:, when she sang the first notes of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. She was much better than the actors who sang it live on stage when I saw the production.

This Canadian wishes her much success and happiness and we await her first released recording with joyful anticipation!

I've just watched this on youtube after hearing her talked about on the radio all week. The judges reactions were hilarious...!

I saw this few days ago on youtube and she sings so beautiful. And I watched news on TV today and heard that Oprah invited her to her show... :D

I really love this story and how it's turning out. That woman, as the show says, has got major talent. Beautiful voice.

Amazing voice.

I saw this a few days ago because my uncle sent me an email. She has a really great voice! I was just blown away (as pretty much everyone in the audience was). I loved how Simon looked so cheerful... you never see him that way... it was almost a bit creepy...haha

Is it horrible that I find Simon so attractive?

 

 

Anyways, this was amazing.

 

I bet that teenage girl who rolled her eyes in the audience probably felt a bit stupid.

It's not horrible at all. :)

That gave me chills! I do feel bad for her, though, even though her new fame kind of compensates for the mean reactions she got. Everyone still was a bit rude to mock her like that. :disappointed:

I reckon there's something fishy about the entire programme. I wouldn't be surprised if there are people out there "scouting" for the best acts to try to make it a decent competition.

That boy singer from last week has been in West End musicals, for example, so he isn't exactly a "discovery".:dozey:
