By the way, Daily Motion videos and also You Tube videos on this site work just fine, but I cant view videos on You Tube!!!!!!

I've just had a look on youtube, click on "Help" on the top of the screen. Type your question and you'll find an explanation from other Youtubers. I've just tried it but the answer is in French and there are several answers. It seems Adobe Flash Player usually doesn't install itself good. It may be the reason why you can't watch videos. As for me i've no problem with Youtube.

The weird thing is that i can play YouTube videos on this site, but if I go and try and play YT vids on Facebook, for example, it comes up that I have to download Flash and over the past week, I must have downloaded and even upgraded my Flash about a million times!!! And still nothing!!!

I have even installed the new Internet Exporer 8 in a hope that it would solve the problem but it hasnt!!!!:cry::cry:

That's your problem, your using IE which thinks it is a cheese sandwich

Well, everything worked fine untill recently!!!!

Which is when your internet browser decided it wasn't going to be an internet browser anymore and instead become a mousetrap :P

But I remember reading something online that said that UK YT viewers were being forbidden to view YT videos, but I thought that only applied to copyrighted stuff, but it seems, it applies to EVERY video on there, at least, it seems to b the case with me!!!!

I have even tried with an IP Shield which hides your location and you can browse behind a "ghost" US IP address, and even that hasnt worked!!!!:cry::cry:

UK people can't watch 'premium' music videos (as in the music videos uploaded by the record companies), but there is ways around that block by watching music videos uploaded by tom, dick&harry

FixYou319, IE8 as Kite said thinks itself as a toasted cheese sandwich. It always breaks after a while. Switch to a new browser (I myself use Firefox), install the flash players for it and it should work fine.

Not in mousetraps though...ahhh

Just repair Internet Explorer by going to control panel.

It should work after that.

Either repair IE8 or uninstall it, and do a clean reinstall. If that doesn't work, then you can try clearing your browser cache, it's worked for me on occasion.

If you have any other browser on your computer, try it and see if Youtube videos work on that one as well.

I have the oppiste problem..

I can watch youtube on youtube.com but not here..

It's so annoying and I don't know what the problem is..

I use IE, can that be it?

edit: i got firefox now and the problem is fixed. :)
