Birthday threads.

Featured Replies

We get so damn many of these every day. It's ridiculous. Can't we just have one thread for all birthday celebrations and discussions? More than half the time, the user who the thread is made about is not even active on this forum anymore (or was never active in the first place).

Nah, I think it's kinda cool for one person to have their own special thread about it.

:book2:

Your emoticon game is great! :D

I would prefer one thread per person, but I don't know what Admins/Mods think about this.

The fact is: I know the "ONE BIRTHDAY THREAD FOR ALL" from other forums and that simply sucks ...

ROAR! TOO MANY THREADS! ROAR MY LIFE IS RUINED BY TOO MANY THREADS!! STOP THE MADNESS RAR!!

I know that one thread for everything isn't quite the same, but do we really need twenty threads every day with all the replies saying the exact same thing? Most of the replies don't actually mean anything, anyway. I'm sure that most people who come to the thread really couldn't care less about the person's birthday.

I never acted as though it affected me that much. If all the birthday threads are perfectly fine and shouldn't be complained about, why are you complaining about this thread? On most forums, moderators try to reduce clutter and spam. On here, though, they don't do anything at all. If all of the mods had their rank taken away, everything would be exactly the same. :\

I get your point, perhaps the Mods should say a word about this ...

The moderators are not going to do anything about this. I sort of just wanted to see what other people would say.

I think that if the thread is about me or one of my friends, then it is okay. All other birthday threads should be disallowed. =D

I like birthday threads :)

Can I be one of your friends? :wacky:

Nope, bad idea,it makes it less special.

nope, because ale already tried making one of these threads and we've all come up with a solution that it wouldn't work seeing that Birthday threads are to single the person out for their birthday. how's a person suppose to feel special if everyone else's birthday is conjoined together?

this reminds me of an episode of the office (us) where jim tried to combine everybody's birthday party. :laugh4:!!

it's a good idea. :D
