Abercrombie and Fitch

Featured Replies

The worst is the cologne. I managed a kids store so we had to walk around and spray the clothes every 30 minutes and people would give me the side eye haha. The adult stores have built in sprayers that spray like every 15 minutes and you literally feel like you are going to die because the smell is so overwhelming.

I know exactly how you feel, I hate walking by an Abercrombie store because of the stench. It's like an animal died in the mall and nobody has come to clean it up in a few days.

I have to walk by the Starbucks and inhale deeply, then hold my breath and run past the A&F.

You know what could stop the spraying once and for all if someone ever walks in there with a lighter...KABOOM :shame:

Don't ever do that though folks. Unless the whole mall is empty.

I like the smell  i never go in the store but on purpose walk by a couple of times :P

The best is when this man would randomly come by and test how loud the music was. We would get in trouble if it wasn't loud enough. The cherry on top for me was having customers yell at me about how loud the music was and how it was too dark blah blah blah....God I miss working there.

Yep I used to work there too, and people would complain about the exact same thing! It was a pretty cool job, had a few douche bags that worked there though!

This is the type of customers at A&F

Please don't tell me people actually dare to go public dressed like this?

haha they do. before abercrombie i worked at hollister and this kid would always wear two polos because he said it was his good luck...

I heard that store used to sell thongs and shirts that say "Why do I need brains when I have these?" for little girls?

Anyway, I have an Abercrombie shirt. It's at the back of my closet collecting dust. I don't understand why people buy these. Maybe they think they say:

'I'M RICH, GO OUT WITH ME!!!'

but I see,

'WHORE! WHORE!'

I do all the time.

I have a gay friend at school who actually wore two polo shirts to school with the collars popped waaayyyyy up AND he thought he looked good. :stunned:

His hair also looks kind of like a dead animal with copper highlights, although that's somewhat uncharitable of me to say.

Abercombie and Fitch sells overpriced shit. You could probably find the same t-shirt and jeans at the salvation army at a much cheaper price and you don't have the snob sales person. Since they charge so much for their clothes...they can afford to put in a dance floor and bar in there to go along with the loud music and perfume.

I think the store is overpriced....

:disappointed: they have some really cool shirt i want  BUT i would never pay $100 for a pair of jeans from them.........

Dee, you have me in your sig twice :wacky:

I like A&F, but not the fact that most of it is way overpriced. Especially the jeans. If I'm going to spend that much on jeans, I'd rather get them from J.Crew or elsewhere. I can smell the cologne they spray in their stores from like, a mile away, but I do love the smell. =)

Yes J.Crew is much better.

Yeah, seriously. Speaking of, I just got their August catalog yesterday and I'm in love with like, everything in it. =P Have you seen it yet?

I always enjoyed my discount...but it was still expensive even with 40% off. But getting gift cards for 40% off was nice. I bought an $800 card before I left! I paid $480...

I guess the A&F nearest to me isn't nearly as snobby. It's not even that dark either. Plus no topless boys :(

I just got it today and as usual it looks great. I think my family thinks I'm gay because of how well I dress and all the catalogs I get, lol.

I love well dressed guys as long as they don't out do me haha

I like well dressed women, so usually the girls I talk to are dressed better then me, but of course they have more options then men do.

Yeah, there's no shirtless boys at either of the A&Fs here, either. No fair. =( Though, there are cuter guys working at one A&F store I go to than the other one that I end up going to more. There's mostly a lot of girls at that one. lol.
