I'm always surprised by all the hate directed towards Coldplay. They make great music. I guess some people like to feel superior (my music is better than yours, and that kind of thing.)

Coldplay makes quality music, thats a fact. There songs have an meaning and a message, not many songs have that today..

If I tould you how many times I heard things like that...specially from Heavy Metal fans (most intolerant fans of the world) and Radiohead fans, that's a shame cuz I really like Radiohead, they're my 2nd favorite band but all I hear from their fans is things that I'm sick of, like "Coldplay wants to be Radiohead but they are too POP to do that". It's not a mystery to Coldplay fans that there're a LOT of people that can't stand them. Actually, that's a good thing, we're just fine without them ;)

I've seen worse. That particular example is just some kid on a sugar high and a broken Caps Lock key. Stuff I've seen involves how fans of Coldplay are apparently either gay or escaped mental patients who pretend to be emotional. Trust me, the stuff against them is insane. :veryangry2::inquisitive:

I know it's not their fault. All that fake Burberry and gold chains leads to Capslock Unreadable Nonsense Text-speak Syndrome or CUNTS for short. I think everyone has the right to like or dislike something..

i mostly hear things like 'coldplay is gay'.. but i don't really care. first i explain why coldplay is freaking amazing, then i leave and let them listen to lady gaga or whatever alone.
