when people from abroad say that they love german , i automatically assume, that they refer to standard german. and not some shitty bavarian, franconian, or palatian ( god beware :sick:) accent.

you might wanna get over it nathan. you are obviously right, but...

Glasgow is a pretty standard and general Scottish accent, I jsut pick on it cos I know it is a particularly harsh one and all the Scottish people that the people on here have heard have all supressed their accents so much.

:lol: i just remember now, that- when i had rented a pathetic flat in kennington, london about 15 years ago with two swedish hairdressers, we had such darn problems understanding the lady from the electricity- board on the phone, who was scottish.
