I shall give Nathan the memo :D

I love mexican accent

We had a Mexican exchange student in college and I could understand him far better than Spanish people. I was quite surprised because I always assumed that we were taught "Spanish" Spanish.

it's funny because you can notice where did the exchange students learn spanish, the ones who come from europe always have spanish accent and the ones who comes from the US have a different funny/cute accent

grringoou :P just kidding

what kind of mexicans have you heard¡

Chileans speak funny, but a bit like some mexicans

if you want to learn good spanish go to Colombia, (either Bogotá or Medellín)

I'd love to, but realistically I'll be going to Spain if I can afford to go anywhere. I might go in a few years time though...

Fortunately I don't :smug:

I'm gonna check this out. I've always wanted to go to South America.

I wanna teach modern foreign languages. I'm definitely gonna teach German and either Spanish or French. It's not entirely my decision though because it depends which university offers me a place. Not all universities do all languages... Either way I am planing to spend some time in a country where the language is spoken.

well when I was younger I had english and french, but public schools are not really good teaching foreign languages. In high school we just had english lessons, but again, my school was a great one in every subject, except english

you can learn a "good quality" english only at private schools (and not even in all the private schools) I think

I don't recommend Spain for learning Spanish, it's easier in here because we don't speak as fast as they do

People, "English accents" are not just one accent as a whole. Know the difference-

I have always loved the Geordies` accent best, though my familys` is from North London.
