THe mystery of the pics from advanced episodes are solved. A girl saw the 6 first episodes at screening.... *lucky one :bomb: So here what she's said.

 

About how Kitty starts to turn on Culpeper instead of the King :

 

It all started when Henry cast her aside upon learning she was not with child. Then Henry goes to visit Anne of Cleves, and spends the night with her. Later, Katherine, Henry, and Mary all make a trip up north to where the Pilgrimmage of Grace took place in order to forgive all of those those who sinned against the king. Instead of having his queen take the place of hostess, Henry makes Mary the star. Katherine feels upset about this- at one point, Henry even forgot to tell Katherine that they were having an event, and awoke to see Mary and Henry addressing a crowd from her window. Katherine hated not having an active role in Henry's pubilc relations, and hated that he would chose Mary over her.

 

Since Culpepper was Henry's groom, and had direct access to him, Katherine would ask Culpepper to deliver messages and ask him what the king said in return. In typical slimeball fashion, Culpepper would leave things out, or "forget" and then feed off of Katherine's insecurities. Then Culpepper would say things like, "If I was your husband, I would never hurt you like he does," blah, blah, blah. Rochford would chime in on how Culpepper loves Katherine, and then before you know it- you have a teenaged girl who is all mixed up in the head.

Jane speaks a few words, more or less asking for God to have mercy on her soul. Katherine's speech is also short, starting with "I have come her to die" and ending with "today I die a Queen, but I would rather die the wife of Culpepper."

(for Kitty, this speech about Culpeper's wife is untrue, it was rumored she said that yeaaars after she died but eyewitness from her death don't spoke about it). I guess Hirst wanted to add some drama...)

I feel bad for Catherine. She was pretty manipulated and naive. But Rochford should have known better. I wonder why she seemed so eager to help their relationship.

+1 on Kitty. Poor girl... As for Lady Rocheford, in the show, she's trying to get the 'love' of Culpeper by doing this (I know, it's a twisted way of thinking but...). In real life, I dunno...It will remain a mystery I guess...

I do. The last day of shooting, we shot this visionary scene, where Henry imagines himself dying, and the scene of what he sees when he faces death. And Johnny [Jonathan Rhys Meyers], who'd by this stage aged a lot -- we'd changed his appearance quite a bit -- and in this vision right at the end, he becomes young again. We were all watching, and we had a very special set. It was outside in a tunnel of trees, and we had wind machines and leaves and white horses ... it was a hyper-tense, beautiful set. And just to look on the monitor, and see Johnny as the young man as we'd first seen him, was so incredibly moving, as if we'd come full circle. I did try hold it together, but I did break down when I [saw] Johnny. This guy has held the show together for four years.
