The Tudors/Henry Cavill/Michael Hirst Projects Thread

Oh yeah, the second miscarrige is heartbreaking! I felt so sorry for Anne....(Great acting on Nathalie Dormer's part!)... and Henry, this big asshole who told her 'she lost HIS boy'...JACKASS!!!

Anyway, the last two episodes are great, especially the last one  the ending of Anne storyline is very well done...

Loved the last episode, Natalie blew me away, her speech at the gallows :stunned:

I don't think so but at that time you had a chance on two to die from labour... :\ And the health issues were so bad...Every woman (and queen) had a lot of miscarriage or dead born child...! It was (sadly) common..

Look at Katherine of Aragon! 7 children and only one survived!! :stunned:

No, I don't think Anne had a problem but Henry was too impatient (plus, she lured him to marry her with the 'I will give you a son' plan or...after 4 years, she couldn't get him one....! It was enough for Henry, he needed to get ride of her...>.> That man took women for 'baby hoven'!! (you'll see what he said to Jane in S3...What a f***** asshole!!)

Yeah, asshole is right!! Jane's face , I felt so badly for her, I mean is she supposed to get pregnant at the drop of a hat  and is that why he took a mistress so soon ? then the portrait he had done of her :veryangry2: arrgghhh

oh the watching is going fine 2 episodes left

yah, im surprised that by that time with him having absolute power that he didnt make some kind of rule that he could take several mistresses and impregnate all of them and which ever has a son first is the legitimate heir. you would think he would have gotten so fed up that he would do something like that.

Henry knew TOO well what mess succession can cause....His father get his crown by the War of the Roses (a clear exemple of succession war), and if Henry has put a law for setting up a 'bastard' heir, at his death it could have end up as a total mess between the 'real' heirs (son or daughter) and the 'bastard/legitimate' ones...

So Henry wanted to secure his trone at any cost cause he suffered a lot from the War of the Roses and he didn't want to see another war like that....And a son was the best way to do that... (women could be queen but Henry as a big mysogyn didn't believe that a woman could held up the relm and survive political plots...). I LOVE how fate prove him wrong....He did everything all his life to have a son that would made England a great country and it's his bastard daughter that did that! IN YOUR FACE HENRY! :P

Like for Katherine, it's the real speech that Anne gave at her execution... :)

The Tudors were officially all crazy, by the way............................

It's the case in almost every royal family...When you reproduce between cousins, no wonder you end up with crazy descendance!

That's a proof that the show is well written ;) No character is all bad or good...They're all human!

So prepare tissue for the last episode!

The last episode is just so moving....I have to tell that in the end when they bring Henry a big plate after Anne's death, I thought they were brigging him her head...XD But no, that was the swan...The way he hate it, it's juste digusting!!

Now that you've seen the two season, you can watch this (I dunno if I already post it  ) It's a fanvid using Viva la vida and it match the words perfectly!!

And don't forget our Charles:

Now go watch season 3!!

So many vids to watch so little time, thanks you guys

but just finished watching ep 7!! Oh my Henry's reaction to Anne of Cleves, well isn't flattering at all, "she looks like a horse" WTF!!! I feel bad for her too, her talking about his leg wound. and Henry not being able to consummate his relationship with her, I'm sorry it's just comedic in my eyes :D

Cromwell's agenda is definitely going to be the end of him.

Catherine!! slap her silly  Charles is right he's as good a man as ever you love him just as he is!!! Silly woman, I'll take him off your hands :sneaky:

I LOVE the look on JRM face when he sees her for the first time, there is such digust and disapointment in it like he's saying 'WTF??? That's 'it'?!' with his eyes XDD Brilliant acting from JRM!!

Henry not being able to consummate his relationship with her, I'm sorry it's just comedic in my eyes :D

XD yeah!!! I love that scene just before he meets her where Henry is with Charles and asks him if he will be able to 'do it'...and Charles (looking astonished) ask him cautionsly (?) 'do what...?!'... priceless! Cavill makes me laugh with that look on his face!

Catherine!! slap her silly  Charles is right he's as good a man as ever you love him just as he is!!! Silly woman, I'll take him off your hands :sneaky:

Yeah, Catherine is just unsufferable this season!! Charles did all he could to save their family!! HE HAD NO CHOICE DUMMY!!! I don't understand how she can't see that?!!

But you'll see how Charles reacts to the all Cromwell thing...I think he realised he had gone too far with Ed Seymour...we'll discuss this further when you saw episode 8!!

So girls... how the watching going on??

@Jen: have you seen Cromwell's end??

@Lauren: ready to some Charles epic sadness action??!!

Well watched the last episode at work....

OMG!! WOW!!! to be honest I actually felt sorry for Cromwell when he dies, and what a gruesome way to go, YUCK!! I think even Sir Francis, Edward and Charles were totally disgusted :wreck:

Charles, Charles, Charles, hehehe so devious in the end!! I love it, Henry :stunned: his acting superb,

As much as he hated Cromwell I don't think he really liked what was done to him, or at least wasn't prepared for how it would turn out.

Not really liking the Katherine Howard character much, she seems like a serious trouble maker :uhoh: and if she behaves the way you said, then I think she deserves to have her head separated from her body :P.

All in all I say Bravo!! to all the actors in this show :thumbsup:

OMG!! WOW!!! to be honest I actually felt sorry for Cromwell when he dies, and what a gruesome way to go, YUCK!!

Yeah, and it really took 3 blow to cut his head off.... (I think it took much more for Lady Salisbury....*groooss*)

And yeah, Charles is totally gagging! And I understand him, it's horrible! (and it appears you have 7 or 8 seconds of consciousness after having your head cut off... even worst :\ )

Charles, Charles, Charles, hehehe so devious in the end!! I love it, Henry :stunned: his acting superb,

As much as he hated Cromwell I don't think he really liked what was done to him, or at least wasn't prepared for how it would turn out.

I agree! As much as he hated Cromwell (for the power he had over Henry, the pushing aside KoAragon, the reform, the pilgrimage of grace...), I don't think he wanted things to end that bad (talking about the drunken executionner here) and that far (I think Charles thought he would just end up in the tower) when he ploted with the Seymours...You see he's starting to doubt his actions when Catherine gives him a reproving look when they are all talking about the upcoming execution and little bro Seymour is bragging about his 'great idea'...Charles starts to realise that he's loosing Catherine for that...

I can't wait to see how their relationship will develop in S4... Is all this continue to turn them apart or we'll they overcome it?? (I hope for the second option, Brandon need some love after this third season which have been a total nightmare for him!)

Not really liking the Katherine Howard character much, she seems like a serious trouble maker :uhoh: and if she behaves the way you said, then I think she deserves to have her head separated from her body :P.

Kitty Howard was just a naive and stupid girl pushing into the king's arm by her family (Oncle Norfolk at work again....even it's seymour+brandon in the show) She was young and foolish enough to keep flirting while married to the king...I dunno if she actually cheated (it's blurry on the historic side), but her behaviour leads to her death....(just like her cousin Anne).

I don't quite like they portrayed her as a little slut in the show but...I guess they needed their 'sex quota' XD

but just finished watching ep 7!! Oh my Henry's reaction to Anne of Cleves, well isn't flattering at all, "she looks like a horse" WTF!!! :sneaky:

Well that's what everyone says about Camilla, too.....................
