I found this on the showtime site, I know some of you love the music of the show. Well there are two official CDs selling here, along with the DVDs:

they're pretty much the same but a little bit different. anyways, those two are amazing!

they used them in the S1 and S2 finales so i was hoping they'd use it in the S3 too, but they didnt.

And I just love this show so far in general :D Even though it's not always historically accurate...(well no movie, show really is....) it's still very suspenseful and entertaining just in the plot and depicting Henry VIII, in what I think is a pretty accurate depiction, from what i know and have read of him

 

But I'm officially addicted :wideeyed: I have a feeling Im going to watch maybe 3 more episodes today/ tonight :sneaky:

Oh and I have been to that Henry Cavill fansite for him :wink3: :dead: And died slowly at each visit since :dead:

But IRL, it was Mary who married Charles...and since they messed up the chronology, they made her marry King of Portugal instead of Louis XII, king of France....

And Henry is way hotter than the real one XD JRM don't look at all at HVIII but I think that he portrays very well his persona and temper!

And yah some other little things too like Henry never having an Uncle (his uncle is murdered by the French in the beginning) bc his dad, Henry VII was an only child. And some other small things here and there, but it's not a big deal.

 

 

but whatever, it helps the story flow better i guess in their opinion and it is not completely outrageous....:rolleyes:

 

 

But yah im sure the real Henry VIII was NOT as good looking as Jonathan....but I doubt any of the real ppl looked that good anyway. :uhoh: Plus most of the portraits we have of Henry VIII is later in his life when he got fat and wasn't active anymore. But i do totally agree about him doing a great job of acting like Henry VIII. I've always imagined him acting a lot like that. Driven by Pride, Passion, Power....like most historical monarchs....

There are 2 princess Mary Tudor: Henry's second sister (who was around 19 when get married to Brandon) and Henry's daughter ^^

So in the show, they choosed to portray only Margaret and get her marry Brandon (I guess they were afraid that people will confuse Mary the sister, with Mary the daughter...)

As for the king of Portugal thing, since they begin the show with Francis as king of France, they had no choice to marry Margaret to another king because Louis XII was the predecessor of Francis...>.>

I've seen the movie and it's watchable but not a 1/10 as good as the Tudors! Eric Bana (whom I love) is a dull Henry....He didn't capture the essence of the character for me. As for Nathalie Portman, she did an ok Anne but the movie butcher ScarJo character! They portray her as the white angel, very pure girl....which is non sense cause she was known for being a slut and the mistress of King Francis! And they made her have a child with H8, which is false....

Plus, the costume are not that great...The dresses are very 'simple' and don't match the finess of the Tudors' ones!

I watched the other Boleyn Girl and Aurelie, you're right Eric is a dull Henry, and I love Eric Bana too. I was a bit bored by the whole movie really. Tudors while not historically accurate is by far the better viewing experience.

In France, we just have the JRM ones (TV+posters)...They used to put giant posters of JRM commercials in every corner of my city, I used to die on every step on my way to work...!

I don't want to spoil it for you so I won't tell you the details but yes, his attitude change like 360° and his character matures a loooot! You'll see, it's soooo good to see him responsible, serious, kind and courageous...! And I like Catherine.... In S3, he's just heartbreaking, I suffer a lot watching him endure all those things that happens to him...Hope they make him a little bit happy in S4 before they kill him, because S3 was just a nightmare for him.... :\ Great acting for Cavill.
