Just watched Elizabeth last night, oh how good it was....again!!! I'd forgotten how pretty Joseph Fiennes is :charming:

Now you have to see the second film with Clive Owen :wink3: (even if I prefer Joseph...)

 

Can't wait for season 4 to start, i'm dying to see how they change JRM to start looking like Henry, I read that 'blog' but i want to SEE it!!!

I put some photos of the set of S4 on the previous page...^^ They didn't change him much and for now, they didn't make him fat...

I've seen both several times, but hadn't watched Elizabeth in over a year :shame: but it's still my favorite by far of the two. Just love her transformation from girl to queen.

 

Clive :bomb: is definitely more rugged than Joseph, Joseph is more 'pretty' i think it's the eyes and eyelashes :wink3:

No cat fight in here. And I don't *think* in real, there was any really... The girls were pushed by their father and uncle into the king's arms. They just followed their orders. When one girl was out, the other had to 'step up'.

Plus in 'the other boleyn girl', they portray Mary as a 'pure' girl...or she was one of king Francis' mistress and known for her...'skills'... :rolleyes: Anne was 'gifted' too but she was more subtle and hide it well in England...

I think on that point, the Tudors is more accurate than 'the other boleyn girl' (and Mary never carried the king's child btw...>.>).

I don't know about that cause since I'm in France, when I want to watch a video of a US network like showtime, it always said: 'the video you are trying to watch cannot be viewed from your current country or location'... :dozey:

A-chan thanks so much and everyone else here that has helped the nubie. ok i got it to work. i cant believe how disgusting Henry's sisters king husband was, his toes were soooo gross, well when henry cavill is so hot anthing else is sub par. oh that was soooo wierd when they all stood around the bed to make sure they did the nasty. i laughed so hard when she put the pillow on his face. heheheeh now i have to wait 54 min but we are going to see Section 9 tonight !!

As for Henry's sister, in real life (it was Mary and not Margaret) and she married the French king Louis XII (the predecessor of King Francis). They were married a year before he died and she married Brandon with Francis' permission. But since the series messed up the chronology a *little* bit, they made her married the king of Portugal :dozey:

 

And +100000 on Cavill' hotness but I think we all agree on that here :sneaky:

My University's library has the first season :wideeyed: and I have it on hold this coming Sun. So i can FINALLY watch this damn hot show :whip:

 

Hopefully of course that is IF i get the time to watch them! It might take me a while to get through them with being busy and having hw, but nontheless im stoked i can finally watch them some now without having to buy the whole series :lol:

there will be, they're filming the 4th season now and it probably won't be out till next year some time :(.... so we have to wait, but oh i'll be buying some Tudors and True Blood this weekend :dance:

No news on the Tudors front for now, I'm regulary checking the Tudors wiki, but there no new info/photo of the set.....Jeez, the extra girl had 3 scenes with Henry Cavill (see review on previous page) and NO picture!! I want to see what his 'older' look is!
