That's a couple mentions for GPASUPYF now, and I'm actually curious to hear some detailed criticism against it. It's generally not a divisive song.

 

I'm still not sure I quite "get" Warning Sign. I don't dislike it - not by a longshot - but it's never a must-listen for me, and I've always preferred Green Eyes over it.

 

i agree with you on the GPASUYF debate...personally i find it to be a great song :dance:

 

on the other hand...warning sign is actually my favorite song...i happen to prefer it over green eyes :D

I don't think there is any song that I hate.....however there are some that I like more than others and some that I adore. There are several songs that I can personally relate to and have deep meaning for me.

I saw an interview last year, right after the release of the Violet hill video..

The beginning is really annoying and all in all the instrumental part is not much creative. The part with the solo piano and Chris singing is anyhow really good especially in the live versions.

I'm going to get absolutely murdered for this, but I usually skip Green Eyes. It makes me sad that they played Green Eyes instead of Glass of Water at my concert.

 

I don't know why, I just don't connect with that song.

 

I don't like Green Eyes either. If i had to say which coldplay song i think is worst, i'd probably say green eyes. (No coldplay song is bad, but i don't know any other word for it than "worst". Sorry.)

i said clocks is too long, but i don't dislike it. the one i do really have to skip in every CD, playlist or concert is The Scientist.

i hope they change the setlist for september, because i hate the scientist and life in technicolor is too weak, IMO, for closing a more than 20 song set. moreover, very very few people here know about LiT so..:\

I disagree with SS on The Scientist. 100% its in my top 5, probably top 3 tbh.

 

But i agree that LiT(ii) is very weak indeed for closing the show.

 

On that note I love LiT but i really really cannot stand LiTii at all.

songs i dislike:

 

1. 42 (this song tries hard at being brilliant but fails)

2. Speed of sound (when Chris goes "birds come flying.." i cringe and press FF)

3. white shadows (just don't like this song)

4. The Hardest Part (just don't like this one either)

 

i have more but i'll stop.. but generally i don't think there is any song i dislike in Parachutes and AROBTTH - love 'em
