Just curious to see what the forum thinks.

 

Personally I'd go with dear William Champion; he is a very good drummer, plays God knows how many instruments, (and plays them pretty well, too) and never gets much attention -- he's very quiet, the press doesn't care about him, et cetera et cetera. I don't think Will gets nearly enough love.

 

Also, I realize I didn't put a "Phil Harvey" option -- you guys don't have to point that out :P I don't mean to disrespect Phil or anything but he doesn't play actual music, so...

I actually think Jonny. I mean, Will gets a ton of attention at concerts now, thanks to Chris telling everyone how great a singer he is...

 

And he is amazing. So I'm not 100% sure...

Actually, I think it's Guy. He is always referred to as a pretty face (which he obviously has) but since he's so quiet in public, he doesn't get the deserved recognition, in my opinion.

 

Also, he plays the most underrated instrument ever, so nobody pays attention to him as a bass player.

Everyone else in Coldplay is quiet and keeps to themselves but he's like a ball of extroverted energy that bounces everywhere spouting random comments and talking about the age he lost his virginity. :laugh3: Wtf Chris? I mean it's endearing and all, but... well anyway, everyone loves him anyway. :nice:

 

Plus he's the frontman, so he's bound to get the most attention. I mean... frontmen, like, go in the front. Diggit? :P

Compared with the other frontmen I would say that he's quite unassuming, but compared with the other members, I clearly think it's too much ... When I see a DVD about Coldplay whose cover is only Chris, I just don't wanna buy it :smug:

My care bear Will is certainly the most underrated....Pity though, he's such a great musician (so many instrument OO, a lovely voice...) and he seems so nice...!! Mr Champion deserve more love! (and they should put his drumkit on a plateform or sthg cause it's hard to get a descent photo of him....:/)
