So my cousin and I were arguing on who's more talented, Chris Martin or Mathew Bellamy from Muse. I say it's Chris Martin and he insists it's Mathew so I started this thread to see what you guys think.:D

Pianist is close, Chris is pretty good. Glass of Water he plays ridiculously fast.

Piano is more Chris' speciality, I admit Matt is def. a better guitat player ;)

To be honest, they're both not that amazing at piano. Maybe Matt a little more so because he teaches himself pretty complicated pieces on the piano.

 

And the end of Glass of Water sounds a bit like Sunburn.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Matt wins in the piano department. Space Dementia, Butterflies & Hurricanes, and Piano Thing are a bit more advanced than anything I've heard Chris play.

Yeah I'm a pretty big fan of both, and yep they have completely different styles.

 

I think Matt sounds better live though, but that's because he doesn't run around or anything like that. I think if Chris tamed down a bit and saved his breath he'd have a better live singing voice.

 

But I think they both sounds amazing in studio.

It is, but the only song that sort of proves Chri's talent is Postcards from far away and clocks, but none of these can beat Space Dementia, just to mention a song. (Well except that Clocks is more catchy :P)
