July 13, 200916 yr I usually wear my basic make up (eyeliner and mascara)...I only hate the eyeliner, because it disappears anyways...but I need mascara, because my eyelashes are so freaking long and not worth not to be seen..:wacky:

Are you going to go all feminist on me and tell me you care more about what women think of how you look? Wow. No. :thinking: I do it for myself and because I like what makeup can do to my face. I want to be able to take a look in the mirror without getting this face on: :disappointed:. What I care most about on the matter is that my skin looks okay. Believe me, you do not want to see me when I have blemishes, spots etc. dominating my face and look dark under the eyes. I have plenty of days where I don't use any makeup. If you want to do the "you only do it for men" thing, then give me plenty of examples of when a real catch of a guy, a true dream man chose a less attractive woman. It doesn't happen often. Take Chris Martin for example. :( He appreciates pretty makeup. Call me low self-esteemed if you want. :\ Actually, I'm pretty sure that women (including straight) do often try to look good to other women (who supposedly are more observant when it comes to others' appearances or fashion or whatever?). I don't know, maybe it's competitiveness or something. I think you've got a point there. I tend to try to look at least as good as the other girls around me and I get inspired by other girls makeup-wise.
July 13, 200916 yr They are bad when you are wearing glasses... Yeah, I have long lashes too and I got my glasses adjusted because the lashes were touching the glass. It was freaking annoying and only got worse when I wore lenghtening mascara. :dozey: Since I got the adjustment I don't have the problem. :)

July 13, 200916 yr Author That's true... i use compact... i'm about to go buy some more and i need a darker shade... but i use... those self sharpening eyeliner...i'm afraid of liquid eyeliner :wreck:
