I know this must have been asked here dozens of times, but I could find nothing while searching, so...

 

I was planning to do something different for Halloween in the next couple of months, and the costumes Coldplay are using for the Viva la Vida Tour just popped in my mind. Can you give me any suggestions on how to possibly make Chris' suit, and make it as accurate as possble? I don't know where to begin.

Do you have an army surplus store in town? That may be a good place to start for military style jackets.

 

The one tip I'd give is to give it some wear and tear when you're done. The replica shirts I've seen fans make are all awesome but they're just too CLEAN looking! :lol:

I had this same idea, and I know a few members here dressed up as Chris last year. See if you can pull up anything from around that time. Really, I think the hard part is gonna be finding the right jacket. You can't get an exact replica, but try all your local clothing outlets for the closest match.
