WDST Radio Contest Winner Interviews Guy

Featured Replies

I read the title as WORST Radio Contest Winner instead of WDST Radio Contest Winner, maybe I was right the first time!

Lol the way he said "Well formed rainbow" was so Jonny.

EotS is amazing. At first I thought they were a bit of a MGMT rip and was put off by their appearance. But upon further listening... awesome. Guy's got great taste.

Yes. They were on my list of "to listen to bands" but they just got a big ol bump today once he said them

and ive been watching some of their videos and listenign to some of their stuff today since then too and MGMT is the first thing I thought of too.....

So i really like what im hearing, nice choice Guy

ok i just listened to that song and i didnt recognize it but as soon as it got to the "are you gonna leave me now?" i went OH i know this song!!

it's a good one!

nice choice Guy

hmmm...is it just me or did it get kinda awkward towards the end? & i thought it was a bit weird that he ended off with asking about Chris specifically...or maybe i misheard the question?

Well C is the most important part of the band.

;) :P

Yeh:\

He wasn't asking the best type of questions really.

It was also a little awkward when he asked, "X or Y" and Guy was like WTF?!:dizzy:

And really? :dozey: "Favorite color?"

But, i guess it would be nerve wrecking interviewing a member from Coldplay!

:whip::whip::whip:

Ahh Guy has the most adorable accent ever :wacky:

But I gotta agree with Ian, that was a terrible interview!!! I mean favorite color?? X or Y?? How's Chris?? Wtf?? :whip:

Btw I love the fact that to this day Guy is STILL unable to pick a favorite color  Or a favorite of anything to that matter, I'm surprised he was able to name a fave song!! :P

I was in an art gallery today and the exhibition was all about colour. There was this light box that really grabbed my attention - it was really pretty and kind of hypnotic. When I read the little bit of text explaining that it cycled through the colours of the rainbow, I had a little chuckle to myself - I too appreciate all the colours of a well formed rainbow :laugh3:

It's a sickness and I got it baaaaad :P

*lol* asking for it from the Guy supporters, eh? :dozey:

but even then, i'd think it's off putting to be asking someone about how his band mate (singular) is doing. tho it seemed like Guy's answer was referring to the band as a whole...so that's why i thought i might've misheard the question.

didn't that guy say he didn't know who he was going to be meeting? my guess is that he thought he'd be meeting Chris, and he probably doesn't even know who the others are.

He did say he didn't know who he'd be meeting, but surely you wouldn't enter such a contest without being a really big fan and therefore know who all the members are

Mmm... you might want to think twice about that. When I won a pass to the meet&greet in Houston only two other girls knew the names of the rest of the band members, and it was 10 of us :dozey: Plus there was a married couple who only knew Coldplay because of Chris and "clocks" and spent the entire show sitting eating their burguers, and afterwards dared to say the show had been only ok :inquisitive:

That is so unfair!!! There are lots of bands I "like", but I'd never enter those kinds of contests because I know there would be so many people who deserved to win more.

Then again, I'd probably never enter a contest to meet Coldplay either... I'd be too scared!

I find it difficult to watch these fan interviews.I feel like everyone is uncomfortable and I get uncomfortable for everyone .

Meh,"How's Chris...?" WTF?! :inquisitive:

Anyway...Guy's accent is awesome! :wacky:

Yep I agree... Even tough I like a lot of bands I prefer that the real-fans get to meet them ;)

Also I'd feel stupid if I don't know a lot of things about that band :P

Guy is so adorable, he just is uncomfortable with questions, No Chris around to bail him out:laugh3:

It does seem that way! But he did well! Those questions were okay...I can't believe he was asking him about Chris..Hello Guy is sitting right in front of you!!! GUY SITTING IN FRONT OF YOU!:stunned:
