Would you date someone a few years older or younger then you? How much does age matter? Or is it more of a case by case basis based on the person's maturity or lack of?

 

I always told myself I want to date someone my age or older, but sometimes the right person comes along..... I was with someone for 3 years who was 5 years younger than me... She is also a lot smarter than me :disappointed:.....

 

edit: I have no preference for age, it just matters how nice they are.... and mature

nah, seriously... i think age doesn't matter too much. although i couldn't imagine dating someone who's like 18 or 19 years old (i'm 23). it's important that you get along well. my friend's boyfriend is 11 years older than her and she said she's having the best conversations with him and his friends because everyone is so "different" (in need of a better word) from the guys her age.

but i guess everyone has to decide for him/herself what he/she is looking for ;)
