this made me think that my flatmate is dating a 34-year-old. and she's 20. But she said today that she's gotta dump him because she doesn't want to get all that mature yet.

Dunno I once met a guy that I really liked who was like 15 years older than me. I couldn't see myself in a serious relationship with him though, it just seemed wrong somehow. The fact that he already had kids from a previous relationship who were relatively old certainly didn't help.

Not always! But it does seem the trend for men to date younger women.

 

I can say from expeirence talking to older women is harder.

 

Men like younger girls because they are more 'fun' & not so serious where as a woman who is older is obviously looking for a more serious relationship & settle down...

 

 

In my case.. I can't date someone younger than me.. it just grosses me out but dating someone a lot older than I am.. also grosses me... They would have to be about my age...

I like older guys. I can't imagine being with somebody who is more than a year younger than me.

I like 30 year old women but they don't like me that way....

I like a guy who is two years younger than me, and it doesn't really bother me. I wouldn't go younger, at least not when not being more than 21 myself, but as long as you're on the same level it doesn't really matter in my opinion. It probably says more about me than him, haha. But you can't help how you feel, either.

 

I'd never date anyone ~10 years older than me, though, at least not at this point. But older is not a problem, overall. Better older than younger, is what usually floats my boat.
