August 6, 200917 yr It's a completely free choice... some people pick a theme, some try to tailor it to the person who's recieving it, others just try and pick as many diverse artists or bands as possible

August 6, 200917 yr I wouldn't worry about being obscure, there are loads of bands out there that I know of but I haven't listened to their music.

Well when I organised the last one, I asked a couple of people to do two because we had a couple of drop outs. Also, because we had an odd number of participants, I didn't get a partner so I made one for one of the people who didn't recieve their Mix. Interestingly, there were two people who never even opened the PM with their partners name on, and they never picked up their Mix link either...
