So? Just throw in whatever you do listen to. It's not about fooling people or giving them odd music, it's about sharing your personal tastes as well as discovering some new music.

I'm just worried that the person I make my mixtape for will already have all those songs.

Everyone worries about that. I was thinking about getting everyone who nominates to say what bands they already listen to thoroughly so people can have a bit of variety in their mixtapes.

I actually already have a playlist that I've been dying to show someone :P

I don't mind, actually. Even if I get all Coldplay mixtape (not really :dozey:). But seriously, I don't mind.

Sometimes it's nice to hear some familar stuff... nice to think that someone in a completely different part of the world hassimilar tastes to you (other than Coldplay)

There are two ways to look at it. I suppose if the person recieving the tape doesn't mind then it doesn't matter. If they do mind, then they can just drop a list anyway and all problems are solved.
