I HAVE THE BEST IDEA!!!!!!!!!!

heyy... im not sure if i have posted on here before but this is what i am going to do next time i see them in consert.

I heard in an interview that chris did that someone through a piece of papper on stage and asked if coldplay would play at her wedding, she left a date and a phone number to call... not that we should ask them to come play at our weddings but we could all wirte special notes to them with stuff we want to tell them or something and make like hundreds of paper air planes and through them all on stage!!! hahaha i am def doing it when they come back to toronto whenever that will be or the next time i see them at all... just an idea! :)

the purple girls thought of writing letters telling them everything about how much they mean to us but then we realized that a piece of paper (maybe pointed) flying through the air would not go so well with the security guards or it might scare them. hahahah

I like that idea. I think there's a slight chance at least that it would work. I just don't think we should make them paper airplanes, cuz the security might have issues woth them being pointy or whatever. But if we just put the letters into envelopes and put little weights in them or something, we could just throw them onto the stage.

Our brilliant plan. I'm sure the security guards would have loved that, but looking back...that letter was ridiculous!!!!! :laugh3:

Letters...are interesting...

"Accordingly, we may want to adjust our expectations, if not our efforts (when the anticipated date approaches), and do whatever we end up doing just for the fun of it, or with the idea that it would just be a "gift", a gesture of appreciation to Coldplay, given without expectation of anything in return."

Yea we can try our best to do something even without the outcome of recognition. It'll still be fun and yes show the band our appreciation.

Paper planes are like a tradition at Crowded House concerts. For song requests and that

We considered that once. But I don't know if security would let us come in the venue with pointed objects:lol:

How about a glow in the dark flag?? It's the best I got...

Not a bad idea actually. We already had the idea of a flag, but a glow in the dark flag would be even better. I'm not sure how we would do that though.

Well, with the news today of smaller venues, we all have a better chance of getting noticed. Any new ideas guys? I've been thinking for a while but nothing.

No, nothing new has come to me yet. But I think it'll be easier once we knwo the theme for their next album and such.

Oh man, imagine how hard it's going to be to get tickets for their future concerts. :stunned:

Well that's why we all got to start saving up now! It helps out in the long run, and it builds up the excitement. Me, I've got quite a bit saved up in my "Coldplay Fund".

When Chris said "smaller venues" how much smaller do you reckon? I mean here in T.O. smaller could be Air Canada Centre compared to the Rogers Centre, ya' know?

Oh man, imagine how hard it's going to be to get tickets for their future concerts. :stunned:

Yeah I know that's what I've been thinking.:\ It's going to be difficult, if they really are going to be playing a lot of smaller, more intimate venues. That's why I'm saving up my money now, so I'll be able to get pit tickets at any cost(if there will even still BE pit seats:uhoh:).

Same! I have some saved for their future concerts. I agree as well, how small would you think the venue would be? Small as in at the Kool Haus or the Molson Amphitheater? We can all agree it will be smaller than the Rogers Centre :P

Yeah, most definitely smaller than that:P. It's an interesting point to think about. I'm sure they won't be too small, I mean I doubt they'd ever do a whole tour filled with Exeter-sized venues, because I think they know how much we'd freak:uhoh::whip: If they're just a little smaller, I think it'd be okay, because getting tickets wouldn't be too much of a challenge and getting noticed would be easier.

Hmm that is true! As long as they have a pre-sale, then it will be ok. I freak out during the public sales ahah as I failed to get tickets to their 2006 concert which they played on my birthday!

I want to see them agaaain! HAHA!

Oh I definitely would like a pre-sale! Otherwise, I'll end up buying highly over-priced tickets again, like I did last time:uhoh:.

Either way, all we can do is wait and brainstorm until then. Even if they are small venues we have the possiblity of multiple dates as we are a large city.

Either that or we can start a petition for extra tour dates:p They can't deny the fans! We will win!

We should so have a huge Buckin love poster, at the concert... See how Chris and Jon react...

Rumpity Bump! Why do I feel I have to do everything with this thread;). Get those creative minds flowing with ideas!!
