Only common conversation,

it took everything I got.

I'm on a search to find people(mostly in person) who can hold a good conversation, I'm sick of people being anti-social. The people I work with act like talking for more then 5 minutes is too much work. Maybe when school starts I'll be able to go out and find someone with personality.

I would have an interweb conversation with you if you ever wanted me to. :nice:

she's a spider...

I'm tired of fake people..:dozey:

I want to find someone who can hold a conversation without saying "lolz"

there are people that actually say lolz? or you mean typing it?

I say lolz as a joke. Sorta. Not often.

I admit I too say "lol" and "lulz" sometimes.

I say lol in internet conversations.

Not in real life.

That's a bit bonkers.

I obviously don't know your workmates but don't you think some of them might just be shy? Just because you don't feel comfortable talking to a bunch of people you don't know doesn't mean you're antisocial.

Nick, dammit, save up some money so we can meet and hang out in October at the Mises partay! I'm gonna go bar hopping with with some economics professors and you gotta be there!

I would never say el-oh-el in conversation, but I have said 'lawl', which I determinedly believe is not nearly as bad.

I admit I've said "lawl" as well.

I would never say 'lol/lawl/...' and I don't think I've ever heard anyone saying it.

No they are far from shy, they just do not have a personality. They're are actually some of the most stuck up people I've met and they don't have a reason to be. The longest conversations they have are making fun of people or picking out their every flaw.

And Jay, I might be able to, it just depends on how much work I have with my classes and how much money I have.

ha I know what you mean....I find it really hard to find people to hold a good conversation with...most people are like "Hey how are you?" "fine" " ah nice".....blablablabla....I'm definitely not one of those who can talk like that a whole evening....that's why I am rather a quiet person at first when I get to know new people....and sometimes it really bothers me that there seem to be only a few people who are not like that...

erm was this the thing you were talking about?:wacky:

uuuh and I hate those people who ask you how you are and then they are best-friends with you immediately...
