August 17, 200916 yr So, I was reading some Coldplay video comments on YouTube and some were mentioning that Coldplay may be coming out with their new album in late 2009. Some said mid-2010. Either way, it's really soon! Is it true that their new album will be out within the next year? It's like... too good to be true. :o

It won't necessarily ever be released. Many many songs from the Viva era were either changed or dumped altogether, so don't hold your breath. Right now they just have ideas. No recordings yet.

August 17, 200916 yr I'd predict late 2010. 3 years from now would be 4 years after Viva la Vida, which is insane. They usually take 2-3 years. (Edited for math failure)

I hope if they release it they change the lyrics just a bit though. "Six feet of snow" is... a lot. :shocked2: I mean that's the kind of snow that was caving in roofs back home last winter. Even on Chrismas that much snow is not fun. ;)

August 17, 200916 yr Christmas Lights could be their greatest song ever, if they just change it to a non-Christmas song. Don't get me wrong, Christmas music is great, it's one of the best parts about Christmas, but if Coldplay released it AS A CRISTMAS song I could only listen to it in December. If that makes sense.
