not really a big fan of Hard Rock. The only bands that I've really liked that would be in the hard rock category would be Led Zeppelin and Van Halen

My Chemical Romance will release an album this year, we know that the theme from their album 'The Black Parade' was theatrical, mostly about death, inspired by Queen's 'A Night at the Opera' and Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'. Now, the band says that the concept for their next album will be a rock-and roll feel. I wonder if it would turned out good.

don't Linkin Park are nu metal?

Yeah they are Nu metal, and i hate them so much...

Hard rock is one of those genres I never place the right bands in. Because, to me, hard music is more along the lines of bands like Minor Threat or The Locust or even White Zombies but none of those bands are even close to being HARD ROCK.

Hahaha.

Yeah it's a tricky one,defining between Hard Rock..and Metal....there is a fine line there.

^Pretty much all sounds like "noise" to me................................. :dozey:

^ lol. I grew up listening to metal and punk. Got made fun of for liking these "softie bands" like Coldplay.

My brother still gets on my case about liking Radiohead.

But then you saw the light??:P

^^

i dont get people like you. if you have no interest in the topic why do you bother posting on it??!?!

Papa Roach have good songs, some of which is familiar to me when l watch WWE. lol. Lacuna Coil...hm..thats the band with a girl as one of the vocalists right? she's pretty. But not yet familiar with 'em. :\ :P

BTW, where's your Kiss thread?

First of all, Minutes to Midnight is beyond shit (except for What I've Done, that song is decent). I'm referring to Hybrid Theory and Meteora, and I wouldn't call them metal, I'd call them hard rock/rap.

MCR is emo/punk. Hard rock bands do not play "The Black Parade".

Papa Roach is a good example of hard rock. Namely "Last Resort", that song kicks ass.

Kiss = Music FAIL in all genres.
