I know its like against music laws to say anyone could even come close to being the next Beatles, but people say The Jonas Brothers will be the next Beatles, SCREW THAT! If its anyone close to being the almost next Beatles of this generation it cannot be the Jonas Brothers! No way in hell! :wreck:

I don't think it's against any so called music "laws" to think that a band could equal or be better than the Beatles. I personally love the Beatles more than even Coldplay, but I'm fine with people that don't like the Beatles, as long as they're not jerks about it. But LOL, the Beatles = The Jonas Brothers!!?? Honestly I'd have to say that if anyone were to be the next Beatles I'd be U2. I don't even like U2, but it's a fact that they've affected the music scene quite significantly. Although, if it was my choice however, I'd say that Coldplay are the modern Beatles, because they're as special and significant to me as the Beatles are.

I think Coldplay is kinda closer to becoming the almost Beatles of today's generation, you see if they didn't have as much competition and weren't judged as being only for girls and gays cuz of Chris's high voice they might succed as being today's Beatles. Back then The Beatles didn't have as much competition. So yeah :p & I don't really like U2 as well, but I gotta give them props for bringing highly popular ;)
