I recently got a new computer and I had these novels I wrote on my old one, I put them on a disc when I heard I was getting a new computer, I put all of them on my computer and then when I pull them up now, all I get is these symbols :(

I would say your wrote them in a font on the old computer you don't have installed on the new computer.
