jesus, if anybody here actually lives in california, for god's sake vote against the recall. the only reason the recall exists is to remove a horribly corrupt politician from office, not to yank a guy just because he's unpopular and has no charisma. forgive me for being the only person in the country other than cruz bustamante who's taking this seriously, but i'm afraid california may be setting a dangerous precedent, and that other states will follow every time a leader becomes unpopular (or at least the ones with a recall option), and soon the people who are supposed to be running our government will be completely powerless for fear of doing something that might provoke a recall.

 

i'm sure i could articulate that much better when i'm not tired, but oh well.
