mc_squared
well I've seen lots of mark's posts reported as offensive by another members (not me, not nathan, etc) so according to this logic he should be banned too Firstly, you've been offensive as anyone on here at times (I have had cause to complain about this myself), therefore you can't take the moral high ground here. Secondly, these will predominantly be people who have an "agenda" (Ian is aware of this). Thirdly, it's Ian and Jen who actually decide what is and isn't offensive, not you or anyone else.;)
mc_squared
I hate the c-word. However, I believe in the freedom of people to use it and for the freedom of people to ignore it. Unfortunately though, Ian trumps us all. When we sign up to use this forum, there is a warning about inappropriate language or something like that. It is what it is. Not worth getting banned over Nathan. Well said Aaron, as always.

Her point was the reporting wasn't by these people who are "out to get you" though. What is the point of reporting then? If Ian and Jen are the masters of offense, if I am offended can they tell me that I am not?

mc_squared
rules have changed now, things weren't banneable before, now those will be (would be useful have the new rules clear?) so we all must take them into account now. and i am not defending/offending any particular person if that is what you think. We all know certain people like Lore will take advantage of any excuse to attack me, Bea, that's all I'm saying.;)

mc_squared
well, none of my posts has been reported Well they have been by me and maybe one or two others, so go figure.;) so I could say it's only your opinion  can't say the same about you... agenda? c'mon... That's merely your opinion too, and we all know it's a biased one.:smug: Anyone, as I said before, it's for Admin to decide what is and isn't offensive, not you or anyone else.;)
colduser
I do not understand how can get their feeling hurt enough to want to ban someone. Even if there was some homophobic asshole that called me a faggot this faggot that, I would not seek for them to be banned. People should be able to say what they want here. I know there are rules and such but if people are offended then don't read the post or ignore the poster.

mc_squared
Mark, I genuinely think you are more offensive than me. I wouldn't say that if I didn't think it. As I said, merely your extremely biased opinion, which counts for nothing. Countless people would disagree.:smug: Her point was the reporting wasn't by these people who are "out to get you" though. I totally disagree, and I have good reason to do so.;) What is the point of reporting then? If Ian and Jen are the masters of offense, if I am offended can they tell me that I am not? As I said, anyone can decide they're offended by anything. It's only Admin's views that count at the end of the day.;)

Countless people would disagree.:smug: So I am wrong because it is an opinion and other people's opinions contradict mine. NO LOGICAL ERROR HERE GAIS I totally disagree, and I good reason to do so.;) There's nothing to disagree with, people who don't like you aren't the only ones reporting your posts, this is a fact. As I said, anyone can decide they're offended by anything. It's only Admin's views that count at the end of the day.;) That doesn't make me any less offended, if I am offended I am offended, their opinion would make no difference. The rest is merely opinion, and we all know yours is a biased one. Thankfully Ian and Jen are in charge of what happens on this board, not biased individuals.;)

Tnspieler1012
nathan, your freedom and rights ends when those enters other person "home" and vice versa. having freedom of speech here, shouldn't give the right to use bad words constantly for whatever the cause is, or start endless fights. of course it does. Nathan's posts are not an invasion of privacy, its a public forum, its an open space where people go voluntarily to converse with other people. If you walk into the park, don't sue when someone speaks their mind. admins and mod decitions are their decitions, why do we have to give our views about them? do you like we tell you how to wear your clothes just for you are on this board? NO. if my clothes are ugly, go ahead and tell me. The whole point of the forum is to share views and information. freedom abuse here has lead us to that point, just if some people would had know how to behave it won't have had happened. Freedom abuse? That's practically an oxymoron. 'You can say whatever you want, as long as you don't say this, this, and that.'
mc_squared
what's the point of quoting a post if you don't actually reply to it? Tnspieler1012
And Mark, shut up with this 'bias' nonsense, I am biased towards Dr. Pepper over Dr. Thunder because the information I've gathered shows it to be objectively better, there's nothing negative about a bias.
