Now all of this is irrelevant as it is Ian's site to run. As I've said in the past, this is not real-life, it is not a democracy. Ian is the all-powerful dictator whether you like it or not, and he does a good job of running this place and trying to keep it fair for everyone.

What the hell is going on here. We just start to make progress here again with interesting threads, less spam etc. and then there is this thread. Why is this in the lounge and not the "Coldplaying.com" section?

Nathan may offend people with his language and degredation, but Mark is just as offensive in many ways. Just look at the old 'Ban the Burka' thread from a while back. Mark is completely intolerant and predjudiced and close-minded, and he never even admits that his opinions could be challenged; he just assumed his beliefs are some golden standard.

 

Now I don't think anyone should be banned unless they are spamming the forum or making threats, but if one person gets censored for language, another person should equally get censored for offensive opinions.

I wish people would stop using the word rights. You have NO rights on here. If Ian so chooses he could ban every one of us, he could moiter every post, he could edit every post so anything he disagrees with is removed.
